BELIEVE ME! You need to put that rim piece on. Long story how it happened. But cut top of my arm open and had to go for stitches from being cut on one. 👍

Ouch! I cut myself putting it together, was really grateful for the rubber strip so my kids aren't getting cut when they help with the gardening.

Love tall raised beds. Made gardening enjoyable for those of us who can't get back up once down on the knees. Had to give them up since they were made of wood and would ROT out in about 3 years. Way too much maintenance and expense. If these metal raised beds weren't so expensive, they'd be perfect. Just the right height.

They are really pricey. I love my pallet beds but a lot of people told me that they don't like how they look and don't want them in a residential area. If people have money these seem like a good alternative.

Thanks for sharing. Need stand up beds since my blind spot is underneath my bust. All I see when I look down is my bust.

LOL! Yeah, I get that. I wish these were around when I was pregnant with my girls because leaning over to weed beds was so uncomfortable!

Wheelchair : Legs sideways ? Twist body? In the senior community where I volunteer the beds are elevated with enough space for legs semi under the beds. Please consider this...

Oh that is a great idea! I have seen gardens like these and if well maintained they do fine. A problem I see people have is that table top beds like that dry out VERY quickly.

@@dirtpatcheaven Yes! A different humidity where I live, so drying out is not much of a problem. BIG HUGS!

I've got a bunch of extra soil on my property. What are your thoughts on filling the whole thing up with topsoil, and then top 6" or so with potting mix?
I noticed one of the beds in the video is caving in as a result of the decomposition of all that cardboard and wood material you put in the bottom.

Hi, I want to buy these metal boxes for my garden, but I don't know how my plants will handle the heat. I live in Romania in the south, here the summer is very hot, like in Greece. Will my plants suffer because of these metal boxes? Thank you for any answer!

I found that we did have to water more in these beds than we do in regular rows. I set up a soaker hose and turned it on for about 45 minutes a day but we don't get really hot here.

I like that. Fill the bottom of our raised beds with 2 liter bottles to save on dirt. This also works for planters one may have occasion to move. Cuts back on the weight significantly. It might slow the flow of heat from the ground to the bed if that matters. We have not noticed it to be a problem.

I have seen people do that and it blew my mind! So much creativity when you put your mind to solving a problem cheaply.

Did I forget it? Sorry, I can be very forgetful of the finishing details of a video.
