I feel so sorry for Gao, to me the main reason he was mad was because he felt like he wanted to be in the lead instead of being the one that has to be led all the time. He wanted independence and he hated how Li Xun always belittled him and never thought he was in the wrong. To top it off even the girl he was interested in liked Li Xun more than him. He was tired of being second best and wanted to have something for his own. To me he and Li Xun's sister were the real victims in this story.
Why feel sorry for him. He’s evil and has no redeeming qualities. He thinks he can compete with Li Xun but that’s his hubris. He was never,ever as smart or strategic as Li Xun. On top of that, his actions led to the death of Li Xun’s innocent sister.
One more thing, if he wanted independence from Li Xun, all he had to do was leave the computer club. That’s it. He’s a sniveling little man with no honor.
