Plot twist : koolaid was asking Hazel for kisses. :3 I found out about this channel later this November and I tbh I am obsessed. And I discovred my love for birds off late only because of Bowie and koolaid. I bawled for an hour straight when I watched the last videos of smokey and Koolaid. Your birds are beautiful and you are a GREAT birb mom. :)
@jxh0703 every morning he says "peek a boo" and "pretty bird" But he doesn't get the concept of peek a boo game. I put my hand in front him and when he taps it i pull it away and say peek a boo. But he doesn't understand yet. Your bird says a lot of things. Mine is still shy talk in front of me. My old parakeet age 9-10 years seems to be trying to talk to my parrotlet. He never made those sounds before, so I think it is talking.
As a proud owner of a Bowie Plushie, please do consider mini plushies of kiwi, smokey, booboo and hazel! I still look them up and I am sure others do too!
@rjpthomas Oh congrats, yours has started talking! yeah usually they talk to get your attention whn you Leave the room right?! I think it's really about how often you say the word, if they like the sound of it, if there's some rythm to it (Like PeekAboo...birds seem to like that word cuz it has a nice melody & is kinda high-pitched. good luck with your Louie!
Such a cutie pie! Still teaching my parotlet to talk, but he's shy. How come he's okay with the other parrots there? Mine goes for my dad when he enters the room - he hates him!
I love ur videos. I have a male parrotlet named Louie who is almost one and has just started to talk! I hope he will talk a lot like koolaid, so far he only talks in the morning when I am in another room and says "pretty bird." sometimes I think he says more but I don't understand him. My american parakeet Only sqwaks and clicks when louie talks and so louie copies him :(. Do u have any pointers? I try to teach hum peekaboo after I saw koolaid do it, hopefully Louie will learn too!

they playgym is from a local bird store. it was around $40.00 CAN.

My parrotlet used to say "Gimme kiss" and then when we said big kisses he went "mwah mwah mwah mwah....." :') Hehe
