    If im at an all inclusive resort, they better not be closing the pool at 6pm! I want to go in the water at any time

    • @bblvrable
      @bblvrable 7 месяцев назад +9

      It's pretty common for tropical resorts to close the pools at about 6pm because that's when it gets dark, and drunk people swimming in the dark is a recipe for disaster.

    J, please ignore the haters. I thought you did an amazing job on the review of this resort. I was undecided between this resort and Atelier Playa Mujeres. I agreed with every point you made from the resort being stunning with plenty of spread out pools, lack of quality in the beach and the "nickle and diming". At 1k+ per night quality steak should be included, not an additional $60+. I couldn't justify the price point of this resort to Atelier Playa Mujeres where from what I've heard is true luxury with amazing quality food (steak and lobster included) and top shelf drinks. Please consider doing a review of Atelier for your page.

    I stayed at this resort in September and the food, service, atmosphere was amazing. I agree that they don’t have the best beach but their pools make up for it. The man made cenote pools were great because they were secluded and I hung out there with friends. I would encourage you to stay longer and try the other restaurants. I loved Bamboo, Seasoul, and Allora. Also had really great tacos my entire stay. I would definitely go back!

    Secrets Moxché) 5 - star Luxury resort looks really nice with all the pools hidden. I cant't believe the property is so nice . The one thing that i think is really cool about Secrets Moxché) is that you have the hidden door for the room steward if they can't get into the room or you have the privacy tag out on your door they can drop of stuff you need for the room in the secret door. can't wait for the next video in the series. You do a good job with the way you reach you audience on youtube while bening very informative the way you delivery the info in each episode on your channel. Keep up the great work man. You definitely have talent to be in front of a camera talking to your audience keeping them interested in the topic you are talking about. Hats off to you man. Congrats

    Jay, My wife and I went to the Impression side for a 5-night stay over last Christmas for about $4700 with non-stop flight from STL, private deluxe transportation & insurance. It's all in the timing. We stayed in the Moxche side the year before. The impression side blows the Moxche side away. Riu & Impressions shouldn't be spoken in the same sentence.
    Santa & the Grinch reppeled down the impressions building on Christmas day to kick off the party. You need to check out the impressions side.

    I have been to two Secrets properties, Moroma and Akumal. Akumal is our favorite, that beach is amazing! I agree the food could be better at some places but the restaurants always varied in what was our favorite. I've been curious on this property so I enjoyed the tour, we really like the beach so I'll probably pass going to this location. I can't wait to see some reviews of the new Tulum one.

    Hey...I really like your review style....Quick and to the point! We are going to Impressions Moxche mid June and really appreciate your tour and comments on the resort. We stayed at Nizuc previously and loved it...thinking Impression Moxche would be a great treat for our 30-year anniversary. I guess we will see. Alos liked Paradisus, Royalton, and Planet Hollywood but Nizuc was a different level totally....Im hoping Impressions will be similar as I love the little getaway areas and less crowded. Keep up the great job and I wish you all the success!!

    I appreciate the full walk through, very thorough. Not sure about the prices you’ve included. 4 nights coming out to $3k with taxes and fees averages out to $750/night. Not totally out of the ballpark but I wouldn’t even consider 1-2k/night.

  • @bblvrable
    @bblvrable 7 месяцев назад +2

    Not a fan of all the upsells, given the room rate. The last time I went to a resort, everything was included in the room rate with the minor exception of the spa. A la carte dining (mind you, that's all they had, no buffet), top-shelf alcohol, entertainment, etc was all included, so you never had to rationalize whether you really wanted to spend that extra $60 for a good steak, or that extra $20 for Grey Goose in your cocktail. In the moment, I'm always frugal, so if given the choice, I'd probably save my money, but then I wouldn't have the best possible experience, and if I'm dropping >$10K for a week's stay, I kind of expect the best possible experience.

    This one seems nearest to a land cruise to me (because of the nickel & diming for a better steak, etc..), however, i wouldn't pay $1,000 per night for a cruise. I was impressed by the shows and night club. I think it caters to couples for that romantic feel, with all the private pool areas (nooks & crannies).

    Was a bit disappointed by the clips of the show - the actors/ singers lacked commitment. If they're bored, the audience likely will be, too.
    For $1000 per night, I'd expect a better steak, and drinks included. The facilities looked good, though, and I liked the idea of different celebratory nights. Cheers, J!

    I have vacationed and many Secrets resorts. Truth be told the food at every Secrets is nothing but more of the same. The restaurants are for the most part all named the same and the menu's are virtually identical from one to another and the quality is similar. All included wine at AI resorts suck. If you want good wine you will have to pay and upcharges are the way it is even at AI resorts and it is the way it is. It is interesting that even at high end resorts almost all lack a bidet. Friends who were there last week felt the shows were cheap, cheesy and a complete waste of time. No ceiling fan over the bed is a positive NO WAY.

    Your review is your review but you can tell you haven't been to a lot of industry standard luxury resorts. Moxche is a highly sought-after all inclusive and nowhere near the same in any aspect to any RIU properties. RUI is always a budget friendly option and knowledgeable agents know that. Service, quality and aesthetic is the difference. Love your cruise reviews though lol🤷🏾‍♀️

      I agree he was gifted this by his agency and all the other videos of hotels. You think he's paying $2k a night? He gets all this so that he can make more money for them and he should have stuck to doing cruises that's what I really enjoyed he knows nothing about the luxury travel hotel market. A person who is booking luxury wants somebody with knowledge. But I thought his cruise videos were the best and if it ain't broke don't fix it. But he has a sponsor now that pays his way all around the world and all the other agents get the spillover he can't handle. So LR Travel always wins.

      To be honest I am 61 I am retired with money and I can decide if I want to do anything with my life or just troll videos and give my honest opinion. Also worked in Travel in corporate and luxury so I know what I'm talking about. You make me laugh because you're cruise videos were authentic and everyone enjoyed watching them. I am not the only one who watches you that feels that way. And when you pin your agency booking link to the top of the comments all that says it's these videos are a sales pitch aka you know nothing YET about luxury travel and anyone who travels luxury will see that and never book with you. So your make me laugh 😂😂😂 You can see on your other videos already how your views went down. Less commercials watched means less revenue for you and less of RUclips spitting you out organically. But you do you. Your cruise videos are still fantastic though. I'm done ranting and will be unsubscribing from your channels. Good luck to you. And next time you talk about the bathroom amenities and a luxury resort people want to hear what they are and maybe have you pick up a bottle to show them because luxury travelers they care about those they don't just care about the swimming pool in their sweet and how much a night the room cost
