If you're alienated by commentary in the language of a neighbouring country then you need to widen your horizons a little. Such a British reaction to foreign languages.
It's so weird when there is almost no one cheering for the riders on the side of the road... it reminds us that cycling has still a long way to go to become the world wide popular sport it deserves to be
Crowds form in europe, much of asia, much of africa, Latin America and North America. Middle east just buys events but never have many spectators. It happens in football as well
You have no idea what impact this race has had in promoting cycling in the Kingdom. Five years ago, I might see a dozen riders on the road on the weekends, now I regularly see riders on the road, both male and female, throughout the week. Weekend groups rides are now massive and the Saudi Cycling Federation has a full season on racing including para.
Maybe the problem was too much CX and not enough road racing? Nothing like being sacked to find extra motivation AHAHA! Ask Tom ex team-partners what are they thoughts... lol
That’s a lot of French right there.
Really?

I like they have the gradient scale in the lower corner of the picture. Incredible how steep some of these climbs are!
Magnifique ❤
Good win for Pidcock but it’s a 2.1 race, 3 tiers below World Tour status.
Is this part of plan to alienate british viewers even more with the french narration in addition to charging extortionate prices for subscription?
