The Imperial City is a walled enclosure within the citadel of the city of Huế, the former imperial capital of Vietnam during the Nguyễn dynasty. It contains the palaces that housed the imperial family, as well as shrines, gardens, and villas for mandarins.
Tomb of Tự Đức, officially Khiêm Mausoleum, is located in Huế, Vietnam. It is built for the Nguyễn Emperor Tự Đức and took three years to build from 1864-1867. It is divided into a Temple Area and a Tomb Area.
The Tomb of Khải Định, officially Ứng Mausoleum is a tomb built for Khải Định, the twelfth Emperor of the Nguyễn dynasty of Vietnam. It features a blend of Vietnamese architecture with Western styles. The tomb was completed in 1931 after 11 years of construction. It is located on Châu Chữ mountain near the former capital city of Huế. The tomb became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993 as part of the Complex of Hué Monuments.

Beautiful Imperial Palace. Interior looks great; however, some exterior buildings should to be restored for maintaining Vietnam's cultural heritage. Restore to their pristine condition by simply coloring them to magnify their hidden voices for everyone to appreciate the artistic skills of the once forgotten ancient craftsmanships.

@@cariopuppetmaster Yeah, unfortunately the part of Imperial Palace masonry walls can easily be cracked or damaged from a strong vibration from a nearby explosion or an earthquake.
Among Asians, Vietnamese was skillful in wood carving and clay sculpturing, they built most important structures with an emphasis on a higher art form to symbolize a place of worshiping God rather than with an emphasis on strength to symbolize a castle of an indestructible military fortress.
Anyhow, with a well thought out method of restorations, it will look even more beautiful than when it was in 1803.
