And yes, I agree as we are the same, I also do not have the storage and space for 5 bins or boxes for each day but would love to hahha and also i do not usually check on the ages stated on the boxes of toys hahaha dont know if that is good or bad practice. i just go by "if they would be interested in it or what's in it for me and them"
When I try to sit down and do more formal learning with my 5yo, my 2yo is definitely distracting! Thanks for these great ideas and the reminder to rotate!

oh how I wish we still had Kmart! (California) -- I have a 6 year old and a 2 year old, and we homeschool in a similar way, love these tips!
