Buying one of the wolves.....is it too dangerous? i mean wolves should live by themselves. but that is just my opinion ;)

A friend of mine "had" a wolf. One day a timber wolf started hanging around his yard at his rural/forrest ranch. They naturally got closer by the day, and soon the wolf was like any dog or cat there - moving around freely, coming in to the house, following in the car, going fishing. He stayed and followed becase he wanted to. No leash, no locks, no orders or any form of manipulation. That happens to be a similar way another friend has intentionally kept his dobermans, boxers and other dogs for +20years. I will do the same with my next dog. I was brought up, and professonally trained, in the "military" tradition of "always being a dictator over the dog and never accept ANY free will". No more. It's basically wrong to consider other life something I own or misuse at will. This only applies to intelligent life - like dogs.

Our family visited this sanctuary last week and it was an amazing and educational experience. The wolves are so well loved and looked after and the people that work there had such a wonderful bond with them. So grateful that there are people and places like this in the world that fight for these beautiful animals, only wish that I was a wealthy person and could donate more!!
I love wolves. I can't own one so I own two that are very close...a Malamute and a Siberian Husky. My husky is a big baby...my malamute is a handful. My malamute weighs over 100 lbs and looks very much like a wolf. The lady in this video is very kind, and I really like what she is doing. She really cares, and that is so great...what a wonderful lady!

We took our daughter there for her birthday a few years ago, We all love wolves. When we got out of the car, the first thing we heard was a lot of wolves howling, It made me cry for some reason. The wolves are awesome, the people are great. I'm so glad we went, and It's something I will always remember for the rest of my life!!! AWESOME.
I was a dog handler in the military, and we learned about the behaviors and hierarchy of wolf packs amongst other things. They are extremely majestic and respectful. By far my favorite animal.

I personally own a Wolf Hybrid and have had to learn so much, but wouldn't change a thing. I rescued her, and she is not by any means a "Normal" dog. I see the instinct and urges, but she is still my best friend. These animals are a lot of work and she is only a third wolf. The determination this woman has for all these wolfs is nothing short of a miracle. I love this woman and what she does!

Wolves are the most beautiful, majestic animals. Their pack mentality, how they raise their young, how they work together, and even when seeing bonds they can make with humans. They are also the nearest protos of canines, who our ancestors bonded with.
Such an amazing video. Wolf Mountain Sanctuary is one of the most beautiful places on Earth!!! My favorite place to go....if anyone ever has a chance to visit, it is fantastic. An experience with the wolves is something you will never forget! WMS rocks!!

I just started crying when she said "who needs diamonds wolves are diamonds" so true I'm only 15 years old and my life long dream is to work in a wolf sanctuary or be a wolf researcher thank you for this video these type of people that help animals in need are what make me reach for the stars and to be one with the wolves thank you for saving the world's one and only true spirit the wolf. :)

I went there for my birthday and it was very awesome! I got to feed them and pet them. Wolves are without a doubt my favorite animal and i'll never forget being there and seeing them in person. It's worth going there to see them! :3
Wolf Mountain is a short drive away from where I live. I keep promising myself that I will go there and donate when I get the money. I hope to have a wolf sanctuary some day, and Tonya is my inspiration.

I would love go there and see the wolves up close they are my most favorite animals in the world. I am glad that Tonya is trying to get more people to see how beautiful the wolf really is and that she is taking good care of them. People like her is raising money to care and protect these animals. If the government don't step up to lend a hand, then don't get surprised if one day wolves will be extinct as well. This video only raises awareness to kind people who have money to share to raise funds, that's the main purpose. I can't do what she is capable of doing, so I guess being thankful is much appreciated. God will bless you a hundred folds.

bless you Tonya for what you are doing for these innocent animals....im sharing with all of our fb friends....i know how it is, we have a non profit rescue group and we rescue special needs and senior animals, that get thrown away at the end of their lives in shelters. we rescue them, and rehab them, try and find homes but many remain in our care cause they are basically nearing the end of their lives on this plain, and we let them live out their lives with us. bless you for caring! xoxox

AWWWWWW WOW! What a wonderful thing she's doing. Wolves are wonderful animals. And it's great that you can actually go in and visit those wolves. It's obvious they were around people since they were pups, so that's a must in order for a wolf to trust a human being.

Wish there were more people like Tonya Littlewolf, Shaun Ellis, or Kevin Richardson. People who understand that animals aren't stupid, they are able to think as well albeit not as extensive as humans. Just understanding the psychology of an animal would bring us that much closer to be able to coexist with them and benefit each other through these encounters and interactions.
It's a job of pride to look after such beasts.
Wolves rarely accept humans and even when they do.. you will fight one of them at some point. They are smart creatures. Treat them with respect,loyalty and love and they will see you as an honour member of the pack.
The true test is the moment they come. The stare, the growl and the claw. I experienced everything but the claw to the chest or face. The moment you see the teeth inches from your face and stare and growl back. It's primal and beautiful
Raised one-thought she was a husky pup that had been abandoned. Vet set me straight. But she did eat dog food,(and whatever she caught) howled, never barked like my dogs, and loved me deeply, as I did her. Best friend I ever had. She passed in 1996. Miss her each and every day. She was the warmest creature I have ever known. She'd dig a pit in the snow, and lie in it to keep the cold wind off, and she could sniff out and raid a gopher den like no tomorrow. She was trainable to a point.
After seeing this i am so going to visit and donate. No doubt in my mind this is a place that i would honor to support the best i can!
