You totally rock! I am now an old woman, with old lady friends.... I've been horse crazy all my life and am finally horse-less. My mule died maybe 5 years ago. He was 42. I've had joint replacements due to crazy things I did when young, and have been widowed twice, so now I'm just setting on my farm watching time go by. Thank you, girl... you remind me of the old days when my friend and I were wild.

I’m in the same boat with you Sara. I used to bounce, now my bones crack and I have more metal holding me together. But I have a Belgian Draft and a cute little gaited mare that I hope I have given a better retirement to after helping them escape from the kill pens. I try to do what I can.
I wish I could go to these auctions and that I had more money.
Nice to watch someone doing what they can to help the horses.

Do you ride either of your old horses? I have a flicker of fantasy that I will find a 12.2-13 hand haflinger.. closer to the ground and perhaps calmer than my lifetime horse, an American Saddlebred that never did anything without a little hop of happiness. I wish that it had been 'cool' to wear a helmet, back in the day. My neuropsychitrist said I probably have the same brain injury as NFL tackles. I'm stupider by the day.

Boy howdy do you sound just like me! Only I haven't been widowed. That mule of yours lived a charmed life to last till 42. Just shows hybrid vigor in real life. I thought my hip replacements would help me stay active but not so. They don't hurt any more but I am not stable. Or maybe that's the replaced knees that destabilize me. And I can't climb into a saddle any more. I enjoyed being active and strong in my youth but I realize I wore myself out in some very serious ways. And yes, Clever Cowgirl reminds me of me long ago. Wonderful to watch but please, please Clever Cowgirl take care of your joints or you will end up like @sarahdy496 and me. Love your videos and have subscribed.

I'm going to guess you didn't start this for the money, but because you love your horses. By sharing with us "non" horse people like me, you allow us a glimpse of what it's like to care for some of God's most noble and majestic creations. Scarlett is the one that comes to my mind. You took a big chance of her. Sure the $25 was nothing to purchase her, but it kept her from possible slaughter and with your love, care, patience, good food and vet care look at what she blossomed into. She is just a gorgeous horse and I hope you take some credit for giving her a 2nd chance. I hope your channel grows like crazy and those $200 checks become $2000 checks and bigger. Thanks for dragging me along. Ron

I'll confess...I'm probably one of the million viewers on that video, and that is how I found you and your channel. I so admire re-habbers and the hard work you do to save one of man's greatest animal partners. I follow 3 other rehabber/rescuers...all so different in their ways they come upon the horses needing their help...but, one thing in common...the horses are all neglected and in need of veterinary care. Another expense you cannot really plan for. You do an amazing job managing all the issues. Congrats on your milestone...let's make some money.🤗

You are actually DOING what I dreamed of doing when I was a child! Saving horses and giving them a chance at a better life than the one they had. After reading the book, 'Black Beauty' when I was six, I vowed at that time to never allow an animal to be mistreated in my little world. So far, it has been cats rather than horses, but my appreciation for horses has never wavered. Bless you for all you do! You’re going to succeed big time because of your kind personality. The DNA test on your spotted pony was very interesting. You’re also an excellent teacher on how to treat a horse which is valuable information to those who want to learn or learn more about what being gentle can accomplish. Glad to hear you delete the rude & crude people. There that way because they have no life of their own & find kindness & encouragement difficult to pass on to someone else. Hey CC,
Great stack job on the hay. I love 2 string as it's so much easier then 3. Plus $4 a bale is a great price, I pay $9 here in CA but still beats the $30 per 3 string at the feed store. I watch your videos to help support your mission to save as many horses as you can. Cannot save all that deserve it but at least some have a chance at a good life.

Around here they are typically $8-10/bale. Its really hard to find people that put up little squares, most is made into rounds or large squares. You've got to be pretty fast to snatch up a good deal on little bales!

Too bad one of the farmers doesn't see that there is a good market for 35 to 40 pound bales!! So many horses are taken care of by one lady, it's unreal!! I only cared for 7 by my lonesome (actually once 18 horses for a year when I was the paid help) back in my day and am smart enough to know that is not uncommon!! I've really liked your editing & content. I think the only thing you need to worry about is making sure that the audio doesn't get blown away in the Montana wind. Most of the time you do an audio overlay on the videos which works great.
Lots of other creators don't do that and only use audio that they create outside in all kinds of weather (which really can be annoying)

I enjoy your videos! I don't have horses, but I grew up on a farm and know the life. Since I've been married and raised my boys, I have lived in suburbia, so your videos make me miss those days! I love animals and enjoy your postings.

I don’t remember the first video I watched. It’s only been two months but I’m hooked! I have seen all of them multiple times. They are all great. You are doing awesome work. Looking forward to many more. Especially the “sassy” ones 😊

Most days you're the only company for folks who are shut-ins of all ages and for all reasons. The shorts are great when we're not well enough to pay much attention. Videos are exciting when we feel better because we get to feel part of your day in our minds and lonely hearts. I'm glad YT is offsetting your feed bill!!!

I found your channel when it came up (at the side of my screen) while I was watching a Horse Plus Humane Society video. I support them, when I can. They are in TN and rescue horses (all equines) out of the slaughter pipeline (kill buyer auctions), owner surrenders, and law enforcement seizures. I am so glad I came across your channel. 🐴❤

Subscribed. Good for you. I've been watching for the last couple of weeks and appreciate your efforts to rehab horses. I've bought/bailed one horse and was given another rescue in the last 4 years and understand how expensive it is. You've come up with a viable income stream to support your efforts, so I'll binge watch in support. Keep the auction videos coming.

I really like your channel because it provides something unique. You’re the only one I know of going to horse auctions like the ones you visit and I like learning about your process for evaluation for which ones you will or won’t bid on. Also your training process is great too. I would love to have horses sometime in the future but it does seem like a lot of knowledge to acquire about their proper care. I hope your channel does well. 👍

I stumbled across your channel a couple of days ago. I had been horse crazy for years before my parents bought me a horse as a teenager. I am now in my 7th decade. You have a wonderful gift. Thank you for sharing it with us. I think the price for horses has become astronomical! I am enjoying each video. Again, thank you for doing what you do.😊

Your videos give non horse people a window into the lives of these animals. The conditions under which they live sometimes are horrible and can open eyes of uninformed people. Keep up the good work!.

I am beyond impressed with your videos, and that you do it all on your own. You figured it out!!! I admit I've been curious, but it seems like you just took the time , and slowly educated yourself.... 🏆Your style is my favorite, video with voice over, very light music in the back. Thank you for your authenticity! 🤍

I watched a lot of your videos this weekend. I think you have a very appealing approach to your storytelling of horses who need to be rehabilitated. I felt you see horses as individuals with needs that benefited from time, diet and contact from you and buddy horses. I feel like it was therapeutic to watch your channel.

I'd be curious for an update... maybe a year update on your channel in a few months. I don't remember when your channel came up into my feed... may have been last fall. So... probably a little after this video came out.
Although an income update may not be the best idea for you... but I am curious. Enjoying watching and learning about your horses, your life, and your working with them. I'm glad you decided to share this with us!

I just started watching you a month or so ago . It was the horse that you helped improve so much it was beautiful ! Then I watched a few more . I will continue to watch and like .I like that you really care for the horses and it’s nice not to see the devastating conditions from the rescue of the horses at horse auctions some people are taking them to slaughter. I have never seen such cruelty looking at sad and scared horses in my life. I love to look at horses to watch them run they are beautiful . I can’t handle it seeing what happens to even fairly young ones . It’s a nice change to watch your films and learn from you about horses . I know if you do buy a horse you will give it the best care possible . PS. Watching you pick up those heavy bales of hay got me tired ! Strong women you are ! I wish you the best success ever !

I love watching your channel, you have a very soft, calming voice along with either repetitive actions i.e. this video or beautiful, heartfelt rescues, training, resurrection of their trust I find it calming and as an adult with ADHD helps me connect with my heart. On monetized channels I enjoy I will purposely allow ads to play rather than skipping them, watch to the very end, like, and comment as my humble contribution to your efforts at rescuing & caring for horses. Godspeed.

Wow, way to go girl! Awesome! I'm kinda new sub here, trying to catch all your vids and the shorts, simply interested in what and how you do things out there. Would love to move out that way sometime or at least vacation out there again and hit one of those auctions. Glad you got some nice hay at a good price. It's running about $6-$8 square bale in my part of Ontario. I usually grow my own hay but having a bad season with too many rainy days. My first field cut in late June got spontaneously rain on for hours. So disappointing. It rains here every other day since June. It gets pretty cold here but -60F is nuts. Keep making vid's CC, don't stop, ignore the a$$hat trolls, you're doing great. And again sincere congrats! E
