We always shopped there when in was young. It originally was a Kohls store and it survived the big lumber yard fire right next to it in the early 1970 s sad to see it go.
The first major, multi alarm fire that I was on was a Family Dollar Store in '87 or'88. There had been several FDS's burn all over the country and arson investigators were looking at them really hard. Never heard anything else about it though.
Now it's just a Family Nickel.

Bowstring trusses are just BAD NEWS. Glad to see they were smart enough to just go defensive. Excellent water flow.

Yep, that's one of the instances in my mind.
We had an abandoned roller rink, and an abandoned movie theater in my district that were bow string. Those two buildings kept me up at night!
Those are automatically defensive for us.
