Zidane is a school of football on his own, he mastered the basics, made them look beautiful and proved they were important and decisive, but he also had a super developed vision of the game and team-game skills and managed to balance all aspects out in a unique way. Ronaldinho went beyond the basics in some individual skills but did not develop vision and team-game skills as much as Zidane. Both are legends but Zidane is the master.

Dinho might had eye flashing tricks and Brazilian DNA skills but what made Zizu apart from rest of the other great players (R9, Rivaldo, Figo, Beckham, Dinho, Totti, Nedved, Henry, Sheva, Raul, Rui Costa) from his generation was his first touch ball control. Till date I haven't seen another player with that level of first touch control.
Buddy there hasn’t been a single other football player who’s football skills can be compared to Dinho. No other, not Maradona, not Pele, not Messi and most definitely not Zidane. Zidane was definitely way more consistent than Ronaldinho considering he played at the too level for longer than Dinho but only an idiot would try to compare both player’s skill. There was a day and night comparison between the two. Zidane had only 3-4 skills which he had mastered where Dinho was the school of skills. He would show a new one in every single game

Skill - wise Ronaldinho as far comparing in terms of other footballing aspects like techincality, Goal scoring ability, Co-ordination with the team etc I think Zidane rates just slightly higher.

Zidan had a perfect French team while Ronaldinho had whack teammates who stood no chance against the well organized French players.

France without zidane was an ok team but not dangerous, with zidane they looked whole different team. players around zidane were playing better. in 2002 zidane went out the group stage without scoring a goal as zidane was injured. The french were not even one of favourites to win the wc in 1998. All brazilians admitted they did not lose against france, they lost against zidane, he was always crucial in the big games, if he did not perform, the team always will fall.
