There it is, the winter themed painting i was waiting for! this piece is simply stunning. though it might look plain and simple pops manage to make it looks mystifying. its almost Christmas pops so i wish you, your cat and your family a VERY merry Christmas . Such wonderful colours all flowing in the water. Mr. Shibasaki is a true artist, capturing all manner of colours and hues. Watching the painting evolve before my eyes is heavenly. Thank you forever. The blending and addition of a few details (houses, trees, fence) give the painting a magical aura. The sky is absolutely stunning. He just washes in a few colours and lets the water do the work for him - he's a genius.
Something that amazed me this time was that little house in the distance, it was far away but you could clearly see that tiny barb next to it... Amazing! 😍

Yay! another upload! I love landscapes with mountains in them, they're my favorite thing to paint. We have gorgeous mountains where I live. You are always a master on interesting colors, I never would have thought to use so much yellow and pink in a snowy landscape but it works so well!! １０年くらい前までは手書きで年賀ハガキに簡単な絵を書いて出していたのが、このところは印刷ばかりの味気無い年賀状でした。
歳を重ね、年賀状も減ってきて印刷するほどの枚数でもなく、ふと『描いてみようか…』と思いました。色塗りもきっちりと塗りつぶさなくて良いと知り…描いてみたら案外 味のあるものができました😆
先生の絵には毎回うっとりとさせていただいております。

25年前にリレハンメルオリンピックでの支援をしていた時の、宿泊地を思い出しました。
雪に閉ざされているので、白または灰色の単調な世界ですが、カラフルな家の壁がアクセントになり、ホッとさせてくれました。遠くから見ると、日本の街の明かりは白い光が多いですが、ノルウェーではオレンジ色の光が多かったのが印象的でした。それが何とも暖かな雰囲気を作っていました。また、遠くの方でオーロラも見えました。懐かしい思い出です。
