I feel that if Steely Dan was playable, he'd primarily revolve around stunning with Lovers and then just straight up decking someone in the face without a Stand or anything.
He would probably be a passive stand user, though I think Capcom did a good job adapting him into the console port by turning him into a shmup stage. I do think Forever would've made for a cool opponent, but they turned that into a light gun mini game.

@@BombermanGold i do know there's some level of appeal to keep something somewhat hidden but i still think showing you how powerful someone is delibrately is more fun As a side note: in sfv the build up in the raging demon (where it starts slow and then acceletrates) honestly makes the move feel weaker and i'd much rather have the versions foumd in old sf games or even tekken 7.
