Sonic Mania Plus - Mighty and Ray glitch

Basically, what you have to do to activate the glitch is you have to go Mania Mode, then to "No Save mode," and turn on debug mode. Next, play as Sonic. Before the opening cutscene, but after the opening noise, hold the X button on the switch (Triangle on Playstation, Y on Xbox), and you'll have debug mode activated in the opening cutscene. Place a goalpost to end the "act." Then, you'll be playing in a glitched version of Angel Island. Free Mighty and Ray as you would in Encore Mode, then choose who you don't want to play as. Then, follow the Heavy Magician (you may have to use debug mode to fly over there), then let the game do its thing. Then you'll be placed in Green Hill Zone, as (in my case) Ray and Sonic. Then, go over to the character swap monitors in debug mode and choose your character that way.
