This, in my honest opinion, is the greatest video to exist of all time. Spot on music, and cinematography. Not often you get to see a promotional video's music correspond so well with the theme and the scene playing.

by reading comment below about the video, i wonder why many singaporeans complain about the mrt system in singapore. All singaporeans should be greatful for the mrt system they have because i think mrt system in singapore is the best one and singapore also have another good public transportation. Im indonesian living in Jakarta and always using mrt when in singapore really amaze and like it very much abput mrt system there. And for those of singaporeans who keep complaining about public transport system esp smrt, you should try how we Jakarta people commute everyday using public transportation esp commuter line rail service which very not comfortable because very crowded inside like sardine in rush hour and the air-con not working properly in some train.

8:21 bus route information for Dhoby Ghaut?
I see, among other routes that are still around, 16E, 182, and 952. 16E is now 36 if I'm not wrong, the 182 shown here was withdrawn and the number recycled for a route that now serves Tuas, and 952 is long gone as well.

Dang, I remember how I always loved riding the MRT trains just for fun when I was still living in Singapore. I'm now living in Calgary, Canada and the trains here kinda suck since there are not much stations for the city (there are only two lines) and they have to run on the roads in the downtown area as well (like the trams in San Francisco if you know what I'm talking about) since there is no such things as underground stations. Like buses, sometimes they are late :/ Seriously, it snows here in Canada and buses sometimes don't run well. We need a train system like SMRT!

When the government allows public transport (public goods) to be run by a private enterprise who's main purpose is PROFIT, then you can find that the emphasis is no longer on maintaining the gold standard in reliability, comfort and sufficient capacity for passengers to be comfortable in the carriage.
Instead, you will find that space will be tight, they will ensure that the maximum will be packed and squeezed into each carriage to maximize their profits per run.
