I left Singapore in 2007 to do my primary 6 in India , when in 2013 I came back I was surprised to see those doors. Luckily Lrt train stations still don’t have those doors 🎉

Yeah, it used to be a terminus station, just like Boon Lay MRT. This one is long before MRT map revamped in August 2001 making all MRT lines have one color each in the map.
Some say they did that because of the amount of suicides on rails but I heard there were less suicides. It's because one school girl was dizzy and accidentally fell on the tracks and got her legs crushed from a train
Dang, I remember how I always loved riding the MRT trains just for fun when I was still living in Singapore. I'm now living in Calgary, Canada and the trains here kinda suck since there are not much stations for the city (there are only two lines) and they have to run on the roads in the downtown area as well (like the trams in San Francisco if you know what I'm talking about) since there is no such things as underground stations. Like buses, sometimes they are late :/ Seriously, it snows here in Canada and buses sometimes don't run well. We need a train system like SMRT!
