You are GENIUSES !! I’m a kid from the 80’s and 90’s this throws me back to the times of renting bunch of horror tapes at the video store and watching them all night long! THANK YOU GUYS!
Did you not see the shit CGI segment - 90s horror is probably the turning point where it started to go downhill. There are some good movies in there but obviously past the golden era.
As a fan of the classic 80s horror genres I absolutely love that we are now exploring all the first era of the 90s horror movies I grew up with! It's gonna be so wild & awesome! Thank you so much for making another & sharing another "In Search of Darkness" documentary! 😈🔥🎃
Having a screamgasm seeing so many of my suggestions make the cut for this doc. How do those of us with membership cards already use them on this production to get any benefits?
Aw, man. I forgot this was annouced awhile ago. I hope I'll get a chance to pre-order it with those sweet items cause I been a fan of this series of documentary since the first one! It's really good stuff.
Well, there goes $50. Immediately supported. Was VERY happy to see X-files in there, and who knows, maybe even Millennium. Millennium was definitely the more disturbing of the two, even if it was shorter-lived.
Oh Hell Yeah we are going to see In Search of Darkness part 4 and part 5 1990's and the 2000's too it will being discovering once again All the Horror Fans wants to see it and so do I too everybody. Sincerely Yours Tommy Brown 📹📼📽📽🎞🎞🎞🎞🎥🎬👍🖥🖥💡🎆🎇
For the record, I'd love to see you guys do a full retrospective on Alien 3, just like you are doing with Aliens, provided you could actually get David Fincher to speak about his experience. Otherwise it would just be the studio execs talking about it from their perspective. It would be awesome for Fincher to have a platform where he could really feel free to discuss his perspectives of making the film, if he were open to it.
@@CREATORVCLIVE thanks for making such awesome and in-depth documentaries. It truly brings me joy to see such a deep-dive on the topics you dive into. I watched the original series over a period of a few days. It was amazing.
'Aliens Expanded' is coming out in May, this one late 2024 or in 2025, and 'The Thing Expanded' and 'In Search of Tomorrow part 2' will be in development in the near future. You guys are on a roll here.
Aliens Expanded is due for release to backers in May 2024. The Thing Expanded is in early development. In Search of Tomorrow: Part 2 is on hold and not actively developing.
Only one question ?! Will there be any other special editions like they did with the 80's versions and if so will there be an Elvira version are my only questions that I have ?! 🤔
We will be creating Collector’s Editions for In Search of Darkness: 1990-1994, but we’re not yet ready to announce these. Any backer that comes on board now will be able to quickly and easily upgrade to the Collector’s Edition of their choice next October.
This is hilarious. I remember these movies and a lot of them aren't great but they're fun. I'm also just now realizing how much the original scream really did change the playing field. I imagine that what the next one of these is about

Now that’s the next generations of In Search of Darkness documentary film 🎞️ but now it’s The 90s horror films 🎥 like Bram Stoker‘s Dracula (1992 Movie) Mary Shelley‘s Frankenstein (1994 Movie) Hocus-Pocus (1993 Movie) Tremors (1990 Movie) The People Under The Stairs (1991 Movie) Freddy’s Dead The Final Nightmare (1991 Movie) Jason Goes To Hell The Final Friday (1993 Movie) Tales From The Crypt Demon Knight (1995 Movie) Army Of Darkness (1992 Movie) And The Rest Of The 90’s Horror Movies 🎥 but what about Jurassic Park (1993 Movie) Dose it counts as a 90’s Horror Movie?! 🎥
To me the less I know about the movie the better, just going in a search for the most fucked up movie I could find on a friday night at the video store was the thrill of my teen years.
Can you guys make more copies available? The first trilogy goes for hundreds of dollars ensuring I will never ever see it. At least not without other means... I want to give you money. Why wont you let me give you money? Why pander to FOMO mass produced scarcity scalpers who are only interested in making a quick buck? Let me give you money!
I'm sorry, but 90's horror film largely sucks ass. In terms of the horror genre, the decade was most definitely carried by TV Series - X-Files, Twin Peaks, Buffy, Angel...& In kids tv things like Are you afraid of the dark and Goosebumps. Horror cinema took a massive step backwards as it pivoted toward 'economic viability' with CGI, the franchise model of sequels, 'Cool', post-modern, self-aware, ironic teenage know-it-all bullshit, the turning away from bizarre and original ideas to tired, played out slasher crap...With a few gems here & there in Silence Of The Lambs, The Blair Witch Project, In The Mouth Of Madness, Event Horizon, It, Dusk Til Dawn...But the pickings are fkn slim over the course of an entire decade. I already know the reason why CreatorVC wouldn't do it, but the 70's presents far more originality and interest to horror aficionados than the 90's, with the reason being of course that father time has already had it's way with the director heavyweights who produced the likes of The Exorcist, Don't Look Now, The Wicker Man, The Omen, Dawn Of The Dead, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, The Hills Have Eyes, The Amityville Horror, Tales From The Crypt & Asylum... But with that said...They'd still have time if they acted quick with Ridley Scott (Alien), Dario Argento (Suspiria, Deep Red, Four Flies On Grey Velvet), John Carpenter (Halloween), Brian De Palma (Carrie), David Cronenberg (Shivers, Rabid, The Brood), Don Coscarelli (Phantasm), Steven Spielberg (Jaws, Duel), Werner Herzog (Nosferatu the Vampyre), David Lynch (Eraserhead) still kicking about...for now... Honestly CVC you should just act really fast and talk to these cinema greats before they're gone, because time is ticking and before we know it, we may never get the chance again - Even if it's just a mini 1 - 2 hour doc, with 10 minutes of footage from some of them, some of the actors etc - I'd certainly pitch in monetarily for that one and I think a great many people who support you would very much be up for doing that too - You doing this race against time 70's horror archive documentary before it's too late and before the opportunity slips away forever. The chance to speak to the likes of Argento, De Palma, Scott, Cronenberg, Herzog et al...I mean come on, surely it has to be worth a crack?! Good luck with your 90's thing, but I'm pretty sure you're missing a trick here. Cheers now.
