Hey Hank. I'm Chris from Germany. I love your clips and your channel very much. Everyone is so peacefull to the other. This is completely differnt than the most people in Germany. Thank you take care and i wish a happy weekend too
Enjoyed this a lot, but I can't believe your on sweet wife Gina's little tractor and your making her walk beside you while she does the filming. She's a keeper.
"Don't take a job making calendars , you can't take a day off"😆😆😆😆 . The driveway Looks great! I bet its also difficult going from a cab to an open station as well. 🚜
When pulling heavier loads, with a diesel, try running in mid range, not high. It's hard on the machine to use high gear when putting the machine under pressure. Any diesel operator will agree for the most part. Also try lowering your scarifiers one Notch down. They will break up the hard sub-straight and allows the blades to crush the fines to fill in and lever most uneven surfaces and will result in a smoother, faster job with less passes.
@hardset-vi3ze totally agreed. Especially if you're loading up your box. If you need to knock down mud, higher is okay, but you gotta know what you're doing. Sometimes the hp is not enough, and you need to use the tractors weight. For that, a good run in higher gears helps.
I've got a Kubota b2650 and love it. Bit bigger than your sub compact but small enough to use in my yard in town. I've got a loader, rear blade, Mid-mount mower and a bush hog. Need to add one of these to the arsenal. Cool video
Great vid!!!! Should b in low range when engaging the ground. Lot betr 4 the hydrostat trans. More oil flow keep everything cooler. Love your shirt as well :)
Hank, I take great exception to this video. I wish YT contributors would stop perpetuating teh myth that a box blade is a road care tool. It is NOT!; it is a construction implement. If you know your implement history, the land plane was developed to overcome the shortcomings of the box blade. Technology rules our world yet so many YT contributors insist on promoting 1970's technology and overlook newer and better equipment. The work you did is clearly a land plane job. It will do that work faster, more easily and in less time. Used regularly, it will maintain roads and drives better than any other implement be it box blade, scrape blade, road grader, dozer or what have you. I've originally bought into the box blade idea; it now sits in the weeds on my land. I use an Everything Attachments 6' land plane, the best I've ever used. I maintain a couple miles of gravel roads and drives, and no box blade can do what the land plane does. And I'd be happy to come down there and show you.
Here in Pennsylvanian in the mountains it’s all hard packed clay and stone! That dozer would struggle! Lol That soft sandy soil you guys have is beautiful! I find it odd though you have so many driveways that are just grass abs dirt. Would be a muddy mess here! We struggle with gravel and road bases.
Jesus has kept me in His love for 49 years and counting. Following your advice, I got a 5' Homestead box blade mainly because I wanted the Pinnacle Series. I was a little concerned, but my JD1025r pulls it ups and down the rocky hills here without any trouble. Thanks for everything; love the videos.
Me to,My dad also told me three things that I will take to my grave, problem is I can’t remember what he said. But I’ll always remember what he said if I can remember what he said.
I am not dumping on SCUT tractors, but a few additional points for new purchasers. If you need weight and greater traction from weight for your planned projects, SCUT’s are the lightest class of tractors. On the positive side, many use SCUT’s for multiple purpose machines with a major usage being mowing. Light is good. Also SCUT’s tend to have the lowest ratings in weight lifting capacity. So if getting work done quickly with a wider implement or moving heavy material with a loader is in your project list, this may not be a match for you. But if you need to get in tight areas, they sure beat a wheelbarrow.
Hank ,,, do they offer a Roller Implement that you can fill with water to compact it better ??? Might help with the heavy rains you all get down there !! Great video,,, tell the boss I said hi
Enjoyed this video Hank. I beginning to think you are messing with me on the #3 words of wisdom. I am figuring that maybe your Father only gave you two of them at one time. Lol.
I would love to get a 25xx series to compliment my Branson 5520CH. Just when I need something smaller and a little more nimble that I do not need to get Big Red out for.
AAaaaaahhhhh! I want/need one of those tractors so badly.... LOL Sorry, but stall maintenance is a lot of physical labor and time. Besides, it would be nice to be able to maintain our mud pit, er, driveway.
Just bought the Branson 2505h. Like the tractor. Just wondering is there an aftermarket skid plate you can install underneath to protect cables etc. from sticks or whatever could damage something. Thanks
did you find it harder to be consistent without the position control on the 3point?? Trying to figure out if its something I should be looking for on a small tractor.
Thre Brandon is interesting that it's exactly the same machine as the 19.4 hp Mahindra Emax20. Curious where the extra 2hp come from? Also, Mahindra says 19.4hp at 3000rpm, but they actually rev up to 3250rpm. Anyways, I'm looking for a box blade and this looks nice.
Are the LS tractors comparable to branson. I'm in the process of purchasing a subcompact tractor with good dealer support. Just don't won't to pay the Kubota or Deere prices. Any advise? Any tractor can have problems but with a good dealer it makes the difference. Thank you
I'm personally not a fan of the LS tractors. They felt cheap to me when I drove one. I hear people like them, but I didn't care for the one I drove. I'd recommend driving it around before you buy it. They are good tractors but for my personal preferences, I didn't care for it. I really like the Branson. The way it fits and drives and the capabilities.

What a wonderful little tractor. Great job filming Gina 👍🏼😀.
What about my skills?????
@@HamiltonvilleFarm what skills? 😂😂😂
Mad skills
You can do a lot with one of those little tractors. You might try picking the shanks up if you're trying to smooth something out.

Could you do a video on how you set up your implements with your subcompact tractor

no remotes on back of that little branson wich kubota BX's has rear hydrulic remotes with hydrulic link option
I think you can add an option. I'll need to double check but I do believe that's an option
Did you add ballast to the tires on ladybug??? Might help with pulling that box blade
Yeah we added water to the rear tires. Maybe added 100-150 pounds. Not much.
