This is the single most true and honest speech I have ever heard from anyone in Washington DC in my lifetime. I have been laid off repeatedly from aircraft on the last 25 years and always because they sent my jobs to mexico, china, Taiwan, Vietnam, and even Scotland and Europe. We've been sold out so others can get a better deal. While I paid for my own education, people from Africa and many other countries were handed $ to get educated to work in our country and they not once had to pay for it. I was a single mother living on 279.00 monthly. I've never spoke to this until now and Mr Hawley is my voice and I am certain he is most of our voices. If the companies want to get cheap work, let them leave America and anyone else as well.
I was a single mom too living on roughly 24,000 a year and made like one dollar too much to get food stamps and no help with day care. The absent father in the home is in reality color blind in the big picture...imo

This speech is well written. I was just confused as to why he never mentioned the fact that he is trying to push through the Restrict Act that will have a significant effect on that which he speaks. If you have not read it, it's very much an eye-opener.

I think the answer to your question is because conservative minded, business running families have been focused on raising their families and supporting them by building their home businesses and working hard to help their children participate in the world, expensive colleges and expensive sports programs- not that those in and of themselves are bad. The other side have invested all their ‘tithes’ and support in building the machine to destroy good and honest institutions. Now we have to play catch-up. It is not too late, we can all play a small part and turn the tide.

I think the answer to your question is because conservative minded, business running families have been focused on raising their families and supporting them by building their home businesses and working hard to help their children participate in the world, expensive colleges and expensive sports programs- not that those in and of themselves are bad. The other side have invested all their ‘tithes’ and support in building the machine to destroy good and honest institutions. Now we have to play catch-up. It is not too late, we can all play a small part and turn the tide.

Senator Josh Hawley, thank you for speaking out on the destruction of our middle class. At 64 years old I was entering into the world of making it on my own in the mid 70's. My husband and I struggled to live through the changes caused by the WTO. It was no longer an option for me as a mother of two, to stay home and raise the children. I had to work in order to make our lives financially stable.
The trajectory of our economy and the middle class is frightening. Thank you for speaking out to the failures of our past 30 years. And lets get focused on what is good for the people. That is why Trump was so popular. Get rid of the alphabet soup organizations that are all about world control with our healthcare, farming/food supply, centralized banking, and the GO GREEN mandates that we are now having to pay for.
As I enter into retirement the banking crisis in the past 25 years, I've seen major losses in my 401k. Since the man made COVID crisis and knowing where we are now as a country, I fear for the future. We are no longer free people, AI is tracking everything we do and every dollar we spend/make.
