Thanks for the mention Justin. We certainly were the first, and the company that protected the clip design. Never had any issues with the connectors, but thanks for highlighting that, although you could have reached out to me anyway. I'll be sure to check them out. BTW, you do need to lift the tab on the original connector to engage when connecting to ours, so I expect thats the difference. Also, in your fitting shot, you don't actually clip the light to the trim, so you will have a gap. You have to push the trim plate upwards to engage the clips fully, then it's a good flush fit. Like I said, in the video, it's great light especially at the price point. Sometimes the clip will stay in place other times it don't can easily be fixed with a small piece of tape.
