So glad I found this video today. Very crisp and filled with actionable gems. I even love that you included personal advice such as keeping it simple to avoid being overwhelmed. Thank you!
@DanielKnott I'm an HR professional taking actionable steps to pivot into QA (focus: 508/accessibility). After viewing your video yesterday, I started playing around with Google sites to mock something up. Once completed, to pay it forward, I'd definitely share with others!
What about showing test cases you created for open source apps on Github? On github you can link just the bugs you found but what about the test cases? Where do you put them so you can link them in your CV?
@@DanielKnott I only have a github account and I found some bugs for a couple of apps but I don't know where to openly host my test cases and that's why I asked you if you know any open source test case management app/website that hosts test cases and I can just link them in my CV so potential employers can follow those links and read those test cases.
Hi @se se I don't know of any tool that is out there and public. What you can do is to create a section on your GitHub account and add the test cases there. Or you can start your own blog and you write about your findings and test cases.

Thank you and glad you like the video. Do you share your knowledge or have created an online portfolio?

Hi @se se, that is a great idea and can show how a software tester is working. Do you have your own github account with this kind of information?
