Lindsey is one of the first people I started following when I started crocheting and remains one of my favourites. I adore the crochet community and have never known a more friendly and generous group of people. I feel blessed to be part of it!
I loved this yarn over conversation. I think acknowledging and casting away comments with mean spirited negativity of others is healthy and therapeutic. I don’t know how all the RUclipsrs deal with some of the harshness I have seen. I admire and appreciate everyone’s courage and effort into making their channel and seeing it change and grow as they are more adept at filming, editing, and posting their content. Hats off to you, your inspired content, your beautiful spirit, your creative talent, and lastly, but not the least, the time that you put into your tutorials and everything else you do to reach out to the crochet community! So thank you for all that you do! You’re appreciated very much. 😁😁
Oh wow, what a comment. Thank you so much this really does man so much to me. I’m so pleased you enjoyed the episode and thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely comment xx
I’m really enjoying these Yarn over Podcasts 🥰 it’s nice seeing designers together, and as you both said it’s not about competition, I love to hear designers lifting each other up,, as there can be some negativity, I used to follow a designer when I first started to crochet, I thought she was lovely, but she showed her true colours one day when she tried to publicly bash and humiliate another designer, instead of contacting the designer privately with her issue, she just went full blown attack mode for everyone to see, that’s wrong, as you guys said there are only so many stitches in crochet It was lovely to hear Linsay just having a chat with you, it lets me anyway, how nice people are and amazing to hear how they started their crafting journey 🥰 xxx
I'm so glad that you are enjoying the Podcasts, I've really enjoyed chatting with other designers and hearing their stories and all about their journey :)
It’s so lovely to see designers fan-girling each other. Lots of people called crochet a granny craft when I started too, but it’s continuing a tradition and keeping it alive. My biggest learning curve was knowing how to start a row , is it a SC, or a DC in the first stitch etc, without increasing or decreasing the stitch count. Thank you ladies 🧶🌟
This could not have come at a better time. And I am so happy to see this come up and find you both in the crochet world. Keep up the positivity in the crochet world! Thank you so much!
Thanks for doing these podcasts, I'm really enjoying them. I used to watch Lindsey when she had a RUclips channel (really miss those posts!). I have just finished your Circle of Hope blanket - loved it!! xx
I’m really enjoying the yarn over interviews, you have a lovely interview style, very engaging and uplifting. I’m a big fan of Lindsey too so this episode was a joy to watch. Thank you 😍
I didn’t want this episode to end, love these ladies! ❤️ Have ordered crochet boxes from them both and love their designs. Such a positive and uplifting podcast! 👍🏻xx
I did are you doing any more of them I’ve listened to them since you first started these podcasts. I got some Tunisian Crochet hooks and I’m starting to learn it. It never occurred to me to have a go at it because I assumed I never ever would be able to do it 🤷♀️but I’m realising slowly but surely that I can. These podcasts are so helpful not just for crochet but for mental health and well being too please keep them coming.
