You can get 10k+ sustained DPS with Voidlight+C. Savior on dummies and there Voidlight is basically disabled. With Overpowered, Mariner, Follower and Chain Reaction you can get 4 Fusion Cannon charges back after each use of Voidlight and Failsafe in C Savior will make it so you have 75% chance to have all 5 charges ready every time which can then be guaranteed 100% in Boss Rush with mod regen power up. Edit: You can also stack multiple Voidlights with Power Trip (double mod charges) and it becomes wild, only caveat is that BotF fire rate affects Voidlight shoot rate.
Hmm. I'm running a variant of that "Sacrificial Pyromancer" that someone called kelmirosue posted on the build website. It's very much non-optimal, even as far as DoT builds go, but there's something quite fun about setting everything, including myself, on fire. All that said, the two mods I use are Witchfire and Firestorm, but Witchfire is a vibes-based choice and one that's extremely ineffective against fliers-do you think Voidlight would be better, assuming I launch the orb into a Firestorm?
Literally just playing boss rush on Apoc If you want an afk method, then you have the Morrow Sanitarium with either the Miasma skill or Star Shot wallbangs
The death of DoTs is very sad. It's my favorite way to play the game as I'm not really that skilled and play very casually with my friend. The Mod Swap meta is very unappealing to me personally.

If you use the familiar mod then use void light it will explode instantly. Very strong for bosses.

do you have to have all rings before you get guns in boss rush?
It seems to me that you only get weapons when you defeat Annihilation, and rings with each world boss
