I tried this recipe, without bay leaves cinnamon, and methi. It came out really Good!! Absolutely Loved it 🥳 would recommend everyone else to try as well.
Tried this today after looking at probably 25 other recipes for dinner. This was my first visit to your channel. Your recipe was simple, right to the point, no talking, and receipe details in description. Everything on point for me to get started. It turned out AMAZING. From our first morsel to the last, we LOVED it. The husband complimented me, "You have outdone yourself." Thank you for a simple and a very delicious recipe. I don't usually comment, but you deserve the praise. Thank you again. 💐
It turned out very tasty , husband loved it.... further whatever chicken was left for the next day, I made one more chicken dish out of it ..added fried onion ,tomato ,green chilli ,fresh cream . Roasted all nicely then finally gave koyle and ghee ka dhunhaar ...and voila !!! Made one more , a slightly different but very delicious chicken dish ❤❤❤
I tried this recipe and it turned out yummy. Also if you're a person who likes things a bit sweet you can just add 1 small spoon of sugar or jaggery it enhances the flavour 😋
Note to self : I did not have Kasuri Methi i replaced this with spinach. I also added peas, potatoes and tomatoes to this recipe and it turned out really good....very good recipe
I originally made my chicken curry with adding the curd to the curry after having cooked the chicken but my friend from Andhra made it like this, marinating the chicken in the curd and I will never go back, its so much better this way.
@TheYummyDelights i want to have more curry as chicken is more. If u want to rework at the dish for second use tommorow can i add curd and spices and recook the chicken for more gravy ?
Yes, you can. Cook the gravy base separately with spices and then add the cooked chicken. Combine and cook until it comes to a boil. Do not overcook the chicken as it will disintegrate in the curry. Let us know how it worked for you.
Dont worry just try this tip. 1) Switch off the heat before adding dahi. 2) Add dahi at room temperature, not taken out from the refrigerator directly. If dahi was stored in refrigerator, take it out, keep it on the kitchen counter and wait until it comes to room temperature. 3) Whisk it well with a whisk or with a spoon before adding to the gravy. 4) once you add curd, mix it well with other ingredients, switch on the heat and keep it at low. Stir it continuously until it starts to boil. Once it boils you don't need to keep stirring it. Stir as and when required. Hope this helps.
Not needed. But if you want to add then let the chicken cook for 10 minutes on low heat, depending on the consistency (how thick or thin) you want to make the gravy, add water. Cover and cook until the chicken is cooked. Adding water reduces the creaminess and dilute the flavors. Taste the gravy and adjust the spices as per taste.

sometimes my dahi splits in the gravy after the closed lid slow cook, any tips? The curd in your gravy seems to be much better texture post cooking.
Dont worry just try this tip.

Or it had to be boiler?
Any chicken works well for this recipe! local chicken will take a little longer to cook.
Very Nice❤
Thanks
Very testy recipe👍
Thanks a lot
Can we make this without Kashmir methi
Yes you can.
No water at all?
Not required. You can add water, if you like to have gravy.
The curd gives the needed water
It will come from the chicken and dahi, curd/ yoghurt
@@TheYummyDelights when to add water
