Once you see Old San Juan and metropolitan area venture out onto the island the people are friendly speak English that's the real Puerto Rico. It's mountains its caves its beaches its forests and great food all over the island. BRW you cannot get a bad cup of coffee anywhere in PuertoRico. Give Starbucks pretentious coffee names and hype a break

PR may be a beautiful island but it has the worst roads, many abandoned places, homelessness and the crime rate is the highest. Oh and local sales taxes are at a whopping 11.5% - significantly higher than any of its mainland counterparts. Seriously, there are far better places to visit. Trust me. I used to live there.
What utopia do you live in? I grew up in the states...we have all that ...abandoned cities, homelessness, crime, poor roads, collasped bridges...
@@marycasanova8516 you usually see that in democrat-run states. That's why you see residentes flee to other states. The same thing with PR. We left and now have a better quality of life in Florida.
