I don't agree with you on bumrah fitness point, the fact is....
1. He bowled 19 overs second to jadeja who bowled 20 overs.
2. In (todays) 3rd day first session, rohit didn't give bowling to bumrah because jadeja and kuldeep were getting good turn and taking wickets, and second new ball was near so rohit was saving the pacers and NZ smartly took that advantage and smashed 60 runs in 4 overs, thats where the session turned in there favour.
Out of 19 overs he did 10 overs yesterday. I understand what you are saying but I feel management is scared to use him . 4 overs he did in first session today and there were 31 overs in the first session. Even after the fact that Rachin Southee was hitting almost in every over there was not a single over from Bumrah after the first spell. It’s very strange.
A big example of this was the england series where Bumrah was given ball the moment Rohit noticed a partnership was building.

Please understand that we have to save Bumrah for the BGT, but it's not always Bumrah who takes wickets. Why doesn't Siraj get some criticism? Siraj is trying to bowl well, maintaining good length, and he's done, but his bowling is not looking like it used to. He's not looking like a sharp bowler. I'm not saying he's doing badly, but we need a wicket taker, not a supporter, and a bowler who can bowl well with an old ball. I think Arshdeep or Akash Deep are much better options nowadays, and I even think Navdeep Saini deserves a comeback. Arshdeep can be very deadly with an old ball; he's slow, but he has better control than Siraj. I feel Akash Deep looks very sharp when he bowls, plus the possibility of taking wickets increases.
I will prefer Akashdeep over siraj because of his seam position and can contribute with bat too but I think Management will be loyal to Siraj when it comes to pick only 2 pacers because Siraj did good in the past. But we need a fast bowling allrounder if we are so protective about Bumrah.
@@trashcricketopinion Yup, I agree. That was actually what I was thinking when Southee was batting. In my opinion, we need two fast bowlers and one fast bowler who can bat like Akashdeep, as well as a batsman to replace KL at number 5 who can bowl like Phillips. Not a proper allrounder like Jadeja, but at least someone who can bowl 10 to 15 overs with good line and is also good with the bat. I still think the position of KL at number 5 is a waste; we actually need a Riyan Parag type player in that position who has good defense but can hit and provide a good amount of bowling if needed. KL can bat at number 2; he's very defensive nowadays and can definitely play like Pujara with his negative mindset. That can give Rohit and Virat stability. At number 2, KL can be a better option than Gill, and Sarfaraz is there if you need an attacking player. We can even utilize KL's negative mindset that way.
siraj should focus on bowling rather than being over aggressive

Siraj not looking like a premier fast Bowler rathar than looking like bumrah supporter from other end, he has least amount of skill with old ball making it hard to take wickets in old ball, and when we are playing with two fast Bowler we need to wicket takers not supporter plus when captain not interest to use bumrah much
