I heard this group & this song at UCONN Tues night with guests Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah & Tonya Boyd-Cannon doing vocals. INCREDIBLE! They are all fabulous but Tonya is possibly the best jazz singer I've ever heard & I've heard Cecile Mclorin Salvant.
my son texted me earlier asking to listen this live version ("I think you might know this song, its back from in 'your days!' ") and the studio version SRBB did and tell him which one I liked more. its definitely this one. from all the live videos of them Ive seen on youtube recently, this is one band I cant wait to see in concert.
