OMG…CLOY was my very first and most ultimate favorite K drama I have ever watched. I fell in love with all the characters and how the story was unfolded. It was a masterpiece . From episode 1 I got hooked on the story and my wife and I watched the 16 episodes in just 5 days. We literally watched the the last 5 episodes from 5 pm to 2am because it was just so addicting to find out what’s gonna happen next. My wife and I cried and laughed a lot. We plan to watching it again soon. Love your reaction especially your husband . I could really relate with his way of reacting to it because that’s how exactly I felt during the whole journey of watching it.
You guys should watch “Mr Sunshine “. The acting was superb, from the subtle details such as a twitch of a facial muscle to the cracked voice in emotional scenes, everyone had their moments. The cinematography was astounding.The writing was beautiful as well, even through eng subs.

This -ah suffix is added when calling out someone’s name informally. This informal grammar is used when your talking to a friend your age or, in this case, an older person talking to a younger person (mother to daughter).

I wish you could see his other dramas in the future! Guys, you should also watch other Gu Seung-jun's aka Kim Jung-hyun drama like Welcome to Waikiki season 1, Time, Mr. Queen. You'll gonna enjoy it. His acting skills is amazing.
I’ve watch the Series Twice 🍭. Man Bok is probably one of my favorite characters. The way they delivered his backstory is really sad. Living in fear that one day you might not see your Family one day. So you had to do what you gonna do to survive. The Watch scene breaks me! But Captain Ridid not hold any grudge against him.
Alberto had the most tragic arc imo ... But the MVP is staff Sargeant chi pyo. The acting between jeong parents were fantastic. So much subtle nuances between them

I loved this one so much I watched it twice 😆 I recommend Mr. Sunshine and It’s okay to not be okay as they both have compelling storylines with an excellent all around cast with several twists and turns. There are actually a load of k dramas I could recommend as I’ve enjoyed so many but these two were the first to come to mind!
Kim Jung Hyun is a good actor with great acting. Recommend his another drama《Mr. Queen》. It’s one of the top 5 drama with hight ratings of TvN. He is the leading actor and the story is wonderful and interesting. 😊

Loved the review! May I add--the reference to Desperate Effort and Tomato Cultivator is from the drama "Memories of Alhambra" starring Captain Ri. Once you've seen that drama the reference is even more hilarious. I was just thrilled! Then there's the cameo with the North Korean Spy in the green jumpsuit (when the rest of the guys first arrive to Seoul) who ushers them to the neighborhood. That spy in the green suit is the best insert ever in a drama! It's a long-awaited reveal to the movie "Secretly Greatly." I cried the ugly cry once I saw him. That scene was funny but it made me cry the hardest. If you watch the movie, you'll find out why. May I also recommend for you and your husband to watch "My Love From the Stars." If your husband loved Crash Landing, I know he'll love "My Love From the Stars." Ok, I started watching your review a week ago and stopped because I didn’t want to hear any spoilers. Now, I’ve seen all 16 episodes and I can say it’s the best show I’ve seen in my entire life. It’s like if they made the movie The Notebook into a tv series. The entire show was a roller coaster of emotions from intense crying to pure laughter. When I saw the first season of This Is Us, I cried my eyes out just once per episode. But this show makes you cry your eyes out multiple times in the same episode. And it was pure comical genius to have the soldiers experience life in South Korea. Especially with one of them being scouted for Kpop groups. It’s also got me thinking if any of the kpop boy groups right now might be secret division 11 agents…who knows? Anyways, thanks for introducing me to this show. I’ve would have never watched it without you making a review of it. Please do another video where you suggest more k-dramas to watch. After seeing this one, I’m hungry for more.

Here is my idea about the 'cheesy' tornado scene: it's a tribute to the most famous tornado scene in all cinema: the tornado in The Wizard of Oz. That scene is also cheesy and for good reason. The techniques weren't available to do a better job. Anyway, in CLOY I think you are meant to laugh at the scene---up to the moment when it gets dangerous, that is your attitude towards what is going on follows Seri's. At first, she's just puzzled. Then she is afraid. However, supposing I'm right, the film-makers have not made their intention clear.

My wife and I are also hooked. Our first time as well. The music, the characters, the direction, the story, the scenery, was all amazing. However, we both hated the subplot. It really didn’t add to the story.
The fact that the main couple are dating in real life right now speaks so much of the chemistry they had on the show!!! Not bashing other drama but other than Descendants of the Son and Goblin, come on now. Best Drama no cap!!

that show was kinda shit, i watched it all but it didnt made me feel shit. i dont feel chemistry at all, i know they are supposed to be teasing us with them but it didnt work. the plot was pretty good but the way they executed scenes and some moments we're just off. Most protagonist's girl interest should make you feel like she deserves, like you really wanted to, like you just want them to be together. but by the way they made Cheon's personality it just didnt give me that, the way Do Min shows his feelings with Cheon's personality just makes me want to die. the ending was pretty shit too, it felt rushed as the way things we're finished killing any emotions it could give. he also was shown teleporting and all... no one came to get him. No one belived to be true. No one saw him as a threat to earth or anything at all, it's like there's no government. the special effects of the UFO kinda slacked too. But what can you do? Not that important but still, with good lighting it would have been way better. 3/10 from me, in comparation with Crash landing on you it's bad. i think crash landing it's the best there, the most real-like and emotion controlled k-drama out there i know of.
It is one of my favorite dramas as well. I am sure that you will really like GOBLIN, another popular K-drama. It has all successful elements for dramas similar with the CLOY. Hope you have time to watch and enjoy!

There should have been a spoiler alert warning at the beginning of the video for those who have never watched the show. I started watching the review and stopped right away. I’ll watch the show and then come back and restart watching your review. So far, only k-drama I’ve watched was Sisyphus the myth on Netflix which I really liked. I hope you do a video review on that show.

Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo is great. Its OSTs are also wonderful. Definitely funny and make you cry just like Crash Landing on You. Another highly recommended one is the War of the Married. Both are not in Netflix, so you may have to find another app/platform to watch these dramas. You will not disappoint!!
You know...when it comes to western TV shows or anime, people react to those episode by episode. Kdramas don't get that same type of love for some reason. Why do you guys disrespect kdramas like this?
a manga to read would be Berserk. there are anime films but the manga is where it's at. but if you want to see the anime watch the 1997 not the 2016-17 one to get a taste of it.

14:55 Could give Tower of God a try, it's the first Korean manhwa-turned-anime. Most reactors I've seen enjoyed it a lot. :) Awesome review, I enjoyed Crash Landing on You too and I highly recommend Itaewon Class.

There should have been a spoiler alert warning at the beginning of the video for those who have never watched the show. I started watching the review and stopped right away. I’ll watch the show and then come back and restart watching your review. So far, only k-drama I’ve watched was Sisyphus the myth on Netflix which I really liked. I hope you do a video review on that show.

Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo is great. Its OSTs are also wonderful. Definitely funny and make you cry just like Crash Landing on You. Another highly recommended one is the War of the Married. Both are not in Netflix, so you may have to find another app/platform to watch these dramas. You will not disappoint!!
