Hi, new subscriber here 😊 I started cash stuffing last may and never looked back since. It has helped me so much to save and budget better. Loved your video 💜 xx
Great video! I remember when I was 17 and I had my first proper full time job, I popped a few £20 notes each week into a little paper envelope! I found it so thrilling seeing it build up!! Little did I know I’d be doing it properly all these years later! Beautiful face! ❤
Lovely to put a face to that lovely bubbly cheery voice. Great video and so true too. I am now entering my second year of cash stuffing and I have both enjoyed it and lost interest but most importantly I never gave up! I visited that drawing board multiple times and only now after I cashed out my end of year challenges and stuffed them across my sinking envelopes ready for a new year, I realised that I am really happy with the simplicity of it all but now my routine is just my cup of tea. I’ve always believed that a penny saved is better than nothing and a pound is better than a penny, no matter what the amount and budget every little helps lessen the stress. The most complicated part for me was making fit with me and my ways. So give it a try, you have nothing to lose apart from less stress in the long run. 🙂🤗
Aww Hey Donna! I am so pleased to hear you didn't give up! I know particularly at the beginning it can feel quite desponding when the money isn't adding up, but the more you do the more you save! Exactly! It is about what you need to do to make the budget work, its not a copy and paste solution. Thank you for sharing
@catherinethomas1304 the great thing is it doesn't matter how much your income. It's about the habit of saving and recognising where your money is going. Wishing you all the best on the start of your cash stuffing! Please feel free to ask questions. I'll do my best to help if I can
@mymoneymatterswithest I named my only daughter Ilona almost 38yrs ago and she told me on Friday that she absolutely hates it with a passion. She said she wishes she could change it! x 😞😂
Ooh Paula! I would love to hear how you get on! I am unofficially trying a no spend month, I say unofficially as I am trying to lull myself into doing it without feeling like I will fail lol
Lovely to see the face behind the voice and hands 🥰 Thank you for sharing and encouraging us newbies ❤ I am only 6 months into my cash stuffing journey and so still finding my feet and what works for me. I look forward to continuing to follow your journey in 2025 💖
@mymoneymatterswithest yes I am changing things up a bit for this year, but even 6 months in, I can see a huge difference. I haven't been able to save money before, and now, as of today, I have fully funded my car maintenance fund 😱 £1,000 saved 🎉🎉 It won't be funded for long as our car is off the road at the moment, with some major work being done 😂🫣but it feels so good to have that money there 🥰🤑
Thank you for doing this video as this year I am starting to do cash stuffing and I was feeling a bit overwhelmed with trying to decide what categories to do and how many challenges to have. This is a fantastic video and has really helped. Xx
Strip it right back! I would suggest to start with broad categories, and few challenges. Get into the swing of where your budget needs to go and spread before deciding how you are going to incorporate things like challenges etc It can feel overwhelming when you first start and takes a while to get into a rhythm, things often change before they settle but that is the joy and flexibility of cash stuffing, there are no fixed rules
That is a great question, thanks. There are a number of ways off the top of my head that I can think of. 1) side hustle- selling unwanted or preloved items on ebay, vinted, or facebook market place. Or if you are feeling brave eough a carboot sale. 2) Receipt apps can be another handy way of topping up points which can become vouchers or even online software such as Neilson that track habits and pay you in vouchers. 3) Questionnaire websites and there are gaming apps. 4) Monetising on youtube after you work hard to gain subscribers and watch hours. I hope that helps :)

Girl it will take time! I think it took at least a year before I stopped changing things, even now I change up things if they aren't quite working x
@mymoneymatterswithest yes I am changing things up a bit for this year, but even 6 months in, I can see a huge difference. I haven't been able to save money before, and now, as of today, I have fully funded my car maintenance fund 😱
