Structural de risking of under explored basins for subsurface storage
As upscaling of #CCS continues on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (#NCS) and around the world, there are an increasing number of new license areas, projects and interest from new players.
De-risking of safe, permanent storage sites is therefore pivotal to prevent storage capacity becoming a key bottleneck for CCS efforts in Europe, and under-explored basins previously overlooked for their lack of #hydrocarbon prospectivity could experience a renaissance as energy storage hubs.
