Only man to do it is big Z: - In 2014, Big Z got 15 reps on the 725 lb squat. - In 2017, Eddie got 15 reps on the 700 lb squat. - In 2015, Big Z got 228 kg on the log. - In 2018, Eddie got 213 kg on the log. - On Arnolds the maximum reps with the 205 kg log Eddie got was 1, big Z got 4, both the same year. - They went head to head in 12 overhead press competitions (axel and log) and Z won 9 times, Eddie 2 times and they draw 1 time, but the 2 times Z lost was due to peck rupture at the Arnolds with slowed him down until today. If he was healthy we would have seen 220+ axel and 230 log by now.
Master M so every strongman and power lifter is on steroids lol. They have to be you can’t even compete without them never mind win. Hell most bodybuilders are on steroids and they are pathetic weaklings compared to these guys.
@@MrOasis316 I know how it works. But what I'm trying to say hes started at a young age. Which I'm sure will have consequences later on in life. I think this can be done with the hormones needed with balances diet and good balance weight to height ratio.
500 kg deadlift. That was 35 kg (over 75 lbs) past the existing record he had set earlier that day! It was one of the most impressive weight lifting records of all time, and Eddie said the lift nearly killed him. If you haven't watched the video of the 500 kg lift, make sure you watch the extended version that shows what it did to Eddie afterwards (onstage and in the dressing room).
Eddie seems to have an overdrive. Just when you think he is done, he pulls extra horsepower from the air and crushes all doubt in the crowd about who is the most powerful. That would be Eddie Hall!
Will you upload the other events at this competition as well? Tried finding from Britains Stronges Man 2016, but that doesnt have this event at all so im guessing its wrong one.
Not only does he smoke the competition but it looks like he did it beltless too. Imagine being a world class athlete and deadlifting 350kg for reps and this man comes in and does it beltless like it's his pre warm up set.
Hall has compared to many other strongmen the shorter legs and makes for a different fulcrum when he lifts.comparee to the very tall and long legged haftor and shaw who needs to bend their upper body down at a steeper angle. the short legs of hall plus his massive broad upper body seems to be a perfect combo for deadlifts ;)
be aware, it's now 2019, so 3 years later, and tom stoltman is one of the top contenders, with mateus kieliskowski, to become the futur world's strongest man

Once upon a time in the days of hydration.
Эдди Халл супермен! Eddie super!
I love that line from Eddie at the end there. He is a man of his word.
Pie eating🤣🤣
Eddie is from a different planet! It is crazy how much muscle he has packed into his frame. He's a solid 50 kg heavier than similarly sized strongmen.
He was also unfortunately very unhealthy. Glad he ended up winning so he can focus on his health and "slim" down to a nice 320+lbs (140ish kg)
@@DevinHeida he's back up to 172kg now just look at his cheeks and the roll on the back of his head. He's going for the bench record 😂
He has the Hercules gene. He has a mutation where he can hold more muscle on his frame then he should be able to at that point normally.
Tren does the complete opposite. Its a pre contest cutting drug
