For Enya to put on a full live performance would be nearly impossible, as she uses overdubbed background vocals to create her famous angelic sounding vocal effects, plus, she plays all the instruments on each song. In this performance she is singing live, and there is a backing track, in addition to the string players. This is one of the main reasons she does so few live performances. There, I said it, lol!!

Enya should go on tour - she sounds so amazing live! I would definitely pay to see her in concert. Highly deserving award - and I love the way they surprised her with it. My favorite Irish artist and currently my favorite female artist, too. She seems such a genuinely lovely person too, which makes her all the more appealing as an artist
