Stunning deck Simon. I love the artwork (apart from The Empress who looks like a Disney princess😝 ), the colours and textures are wonderful. Madeline Miller's novel Circe is a good read based on the Greek myths but from Circe's point of view🤗💜💫
A beautiful deck with lovely artwork and colouration. I love it! The coins are so gorgeous too, but as you say Simon, extremely expensive if you want to collect the whole set, though not too bad individually or for just a few. Thanks for the walkthrough Simon. x🙏🍁💕
Must have Lo Scarabeo ❤. Coins are def interesting to get and keep in your pocket for the day. Don’t know that I would get the whole set but maybe a few at a time depending on what I’m working on for the day, month or year. Those are great gifts!
I love that coin! I wish they would put it in the Total Tarot collection. The backs of these cards are beautiful and I would definitely be edging them in a dark red. I am not into Greek mythology but this deck is really nice, great art work and the Devil card is amazing! 😍❤️
The Hierophant is a Centaur... Chiron? I was ogling this on my local tarot webshop, yay for decks at 25€, i appreciate lo Scarabeo no end😅. Good to see all the cards Simon, it's better even than i thought
Wow, it's awesome ❤ Very unique. Beautiful colours and the facial expressions are great 👍🏻 I love the little white book gives a bit of background information here 👍🏻 That is something I have missed for my last Lo Scarabeo deck - the Tarot Of Tales And Legends. Also I'm happy to hear this has a good cardstock 😊 So tomorrow my way will definitely lead me to my local bookshop 😅 PS : The packages Cheryl creates are incredible lovely and thoughtful ❤️😊
I saw the Oneness Emporium had this deck before amazon just earlier today. Ive ordered it 😁..its beautiful. I love greek mythology. Circe was a very vengeful woman..such great stories. ❤
Love this so much. Something about the artwork reminds me a little of the Morgan Greer...which I love too and so looking forward to the next Throwback Thursday.
A coin! It’ll be indeed expensive to get all 78 individually. That Cirque deck is interesting. The lovers card is a great image at that angle. Thank you for sharing! 🙏👍🏼❤️
I wasn't sure when I read the description, but I really like this deck. The artwork is lovely, and if you're not familiar with the Greek pantheon, it's a good jumping off point to learn more. Well done!
Another enjoyable review, thank you, Simon. I like how you said you weren’t sure which genre to put this deck in. I was glad you said that because I was thinking the images are all over the place like it was created by multiple artist. That’s great that so many people love this deck but for me, it’s a major fail.
I LOVE the look of this deck 😍 I know what you mean about not being able to put your finger on the genre of art... it looks a little like some vintage children's book illustrations. The colours are wonderful! Thanks for showing it! 😁
10:53 curious how the symbol of Uranus turns up on The Empress card (on her sceptre) while she is traditionnally connected to Venus. 🤔12:28 Don't you think too that the head of the lion isn't actually the head a lion but rather the head of a man? Does he finally submit to and recognizes the superior power of a woman?
Hi Simon, beautiful mystery box from onenessemporium. The artwork in the deck is quite stunning. Thanks for this walkthrough. Please tell us if you start working with the deck🌟🌈
They have only released the first four of the major acarna. They are usually 8.99 each , but I use them to go into the mystery boxes as an exclusive for buying the boxes
#1. the deck has next to nothing to do with Circe and her many stories. She's mentioned in only a very few cards. Central parts of her story are entirely absent so the deck title is a misnomer #2. the 7 swords is given to Hestia. The author calls her 'cold blooded' and labels her with subterfuge. This a gross misunderstanding of her role in every day Greek life and mythology and ruins the integrity of the entire deck. Hestia was the keeper of the hearth in every Greek home, the constant keeper of the Olympian sacred flame and the sacred fire of every Greek city and the Greek state itself. She was the LEAST involved in drama of all the Gods. She was central to Greek life and every sacrifice began with acknowledging her presence.
Very cool! Should be out early November in the US. I took a risk and pre-ordered the deck direct from Llewellyn as they had a good discount code a few weeks ago. Good to know the guidebook will be helpful identifying the characters I was a little worried. 😍

Cool coin! It's like CharmCast metal tiles.
I’m a pretty diehard Smith Waite user and rarely buy a new deck, but I think this one has captured my heart. It’s absolutely stunning!
OMG . It finally arrived 🤣
The wait is over!! 😝
¡Me da miedo! Regards from México 🇲🇽🙋🏻♀️📚🥇🏆

Please can you remind me where you bought your Sun/Moon stone from Simon? Trying to track down where to buy it from.

I love how there's different skin tones. No White Marble supremacy
