Hello Arne & Carlos!! This is beautiful. So happy you are back for a crochet-along. I love watching your channels. They are beautiful. You make me laugh too you are so funny. 😁 Have a wonderful week. So excited for the project!! Thank you and Bless you!! 😁❤
This will be my second crochet project with you. The thing I love the most about crocheting flowers is that I get to use many fun colors that I might not want to wear but still love. It’s like quilting with yarn!
Wonderful little tool, but, I don't know how to hash tag. Am loving your videos. You 2 are such an enjoyment and so helpful. thank you from a 71 year old learner. Trying to learn how to read charts, too. love, hugs, prayers.
I forgot u were starting SPRING this week. Sorry but I'm ready now. I have bought ur pattern & will get a few flowers done. I have been making some baubles for my Christmas wreath but as Christmas is a few months away. 🤣🤣🤣 I can concentrate on SPRING. Take care & I'll see u both new wk. Happy Easter. 🥚🥚🐣🐣🧶🧶🪡🪡🏵🏵🌼🌼❤❤👋👋👋
Wow these are beautiful flowers and I always love the knit blocks.. Thank you so much I can't wait to get the patterns and yarn!! You both made Spring Happier!! :)
Happy Easter dear friends, funny, as always. I hope you are enjoying your Easter with your friends and family. Thank you for this 'spring along' . I am excited to do both. Yay! Love to you both and God bless you
hola! Arne y Carlos😊👋soy de PERU vivo en lima, me gusta tejer y todo lo que tiene que ver con manualidades..me encantan sus podcats! Saludos para los dos!✌😄
I have your book with the Primrose Blanket which I have been wanting to crochet but anything beyond a granny square is new to me. This video has me off to a great start!
Thank you for the lesson, I' ve laughed a lot before chrochet. 🤣🤣🤣 You made my day, the second time I laughed. My husband brought me to laugh some hours earlier. Such days we all need. 🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍🌻🌻🌻💖
Thank you so much for sharing this crocet-along! I grew up with mother/grandmother/great-aunts having chair pads in joined flowers as well! It has taken me back to my childnood memory bank for certain! I will make several to join as a flat decoration for my guest rooms! See you next week!
I swear you guys are always there ready for what I've been wanting to do next! I've been puzzling over how to learn to read crochet charts and how to get going on the crochet I've always wanted to try. And here you are!! Thank you!! I might try the Gunnhilde instead of Hilde, but I have both patterns now. :D. And lots of Felted Tweed ready to go!
I am SO excited for this! Never done crochet before and this has been the perfect excuse to start. Someone made me one of your beautiful blankets so I am now paying the love forward and going to attempt to make a little blanket for my Mum!
Happy Easter 🐣, I love the flowers and I've collected loads of colours to make them bright and cheerful. I also think I'll try the knitted squares too. Thank you xx
Happy Easter guys. Hope your weekend is good. This is fabulous and going to be such fun. Even I could see where the crochet flower was going. Love the knitted square and will download that now. The next few weeks are going to be such fun. Arne your introduction was very funny. Thanks so much both of you. 🧶🧶
Oh my gosh I'm so excited!!! I'm a crocheter and can't wait to get started!🧶 now just to pick out some yarn/colors.......maybe I will make them scrappy yarn flowers! You are both awesome 😊
I’ve never done crochet but it was so good to watch you! Arne you are so quick!i actually had breakfast watching you both its normally dinner! So relaxing to watch and listen to you both! Thank you so much as always! Xx 😘🧶😘🐣
I'm in because i want to learn crochet and this will help me-along. In my town we are currently making paper flowers for hanami (cherry blossom) for April/May, but i would like to crochet some! Thank you for sharing.
You had me at Carlos growling at Arne. :) How I loved spending time with you two! Can't wait to actually concentrate on my crochet. I am a beginning crochet (only a few Granny Squares) so this is perfect!
Some of the US channels I follow are starting to use the "start with a chain of six, slip stitch to join. Now for round one." So much easier to follow at the beginning.
I'm so excited there are to be more blocks. I have made a blanket from the old ones and I'm very happy with it. I'll wait to see what you're planning before I decide what to make this time. I've loads of Felted Tweed so I'm ready to go lol. I will also give the flowers a try but I'm not so hot on crochet, mainly cos I'm left handed.
Happy Easter, Arne and Carlos! 🐣🐤🐰 Love the idea of a "Spring-along". The flowers are colourful and inviting, and the block is lovely. Best of all are your smiling faces and the joy of a new adventure. 🌠
Yay more New squares to add to my pile! Probably time to start to put them together but i just love making them. Thank you for creating more for us. Now my decision is whether to start another flower blanket when gunnhild is actively using scrap yarn. Thank you for this spring a long!
hi guys love the podcast today probably because i crochet a lot i want to make a bag with the flowers that i make from this one so i am loveing this so take care and see you wed
I’m excited to know you have designed new block patches! I’m still knitting the original quarantine and Sit’n’Knit blocks. Curious to see what you have planned to make with the patches. I’m going to rewatch the video and start the crochet flowers. I’ll use scrap yarn. However I love the felted tweed colours you have chosen. I will pop into my local yarn store next week to buy some Rowan felted tweed. It will be a treat for me to start with some new yarn for the Spring’a’long 🐇 (I’m in Melbourne so I can pretend it isn’t Autumn).
I’m on vacation without yarn, but I’ll start to crochet on May 1 when I return home! This will be the start of a cute blanket for my granddaughter Lucia!
Tak for this crochetalong/Springalong 😊 As I have been watching you crochet, I have gradually been getting faster and faster, all your hints and tips help so much. Also, Arne, I am coveting your wonderful bird print shirt! I would love a blouse in that pattern, maybe it will be a winter project for me though, too many UFO’s lol. Be well, Sally 🌹
I have paused working on Hedwig to begin on Hilde. Arne I love your tips with the tail, I am doing this now with my centres. You both are so encouraging. Re watching your video keeps me on track and spurs me on to make more. 54 centres done 216 to go!
Happy Spring. Thank you for this beautiful spring-along. A little note about the way we hold a crochet hook. People with bigger hands hold their hook like Arne. People with very small hands usually hold their hook the way which is impossible for Arne. The proper way to hold your hook is the way your hand is comfortable. Motor control and flexibility in the hand also affects the way we hold our hook. Never be intimidated or shamed by the way you hold your hook. Note to beginners: try holding the hook every way you see it done. One way will feel natural to you. This is what the right is for you. Bless you Arne and Carlos. Kiss your fur babies for me ^·,·^ ^·,·^
I have to say....this pattern is great because it looks good coming AND going! The way the flower with the six-sided block surround is made, it looks just as good on the back as it does on the front (and that is not always the case) 🏵 A great and ingenious design, Arne & Carlos!
Most adorable young men I've ever seen lol, you two are perfect together, I love seeing the happiness between you
Thank you Michelle!
Such a lovely way to enjoy Sunday
So happy you are doing these crochet & knit along videos! SUPER 😁😁😁

Arne and Carlos I love The Spring Along. Thank you so much. Please pet Freya and Helmer for me
Willdo!
This will be my second crochet project with you. The thing I love the most about crocheting flowers is that I get to use many fun colors that I might not want to wear but still love. It’s like quilting with yarn!

See later tonight!

Thanks for the encouragement to crochet this project. I just bought the pattern and hope to keep up each week! I love the pattern. Happy Spring.
I swear you guys are always there ready for what I've been wanting to do next! Love the idea of a "Spring-along". The flowers are colourful and inviting, and the block is lovely. Best of all are your smiling faces and the joy of a new adventure. 🌠
I wish I could knit the crocheted flowers.
EDIT: I've learned to crochet the flower centers. I'm looking forward to learning the next round.
Love this bite size so we can practice
Very well presented! Super! Thank you for sharing!
Yay more New squares to add to my pile! Probably time to start to put them together but i just love making them. Thank you for creating more for us.
Now my decision is whether to start another flower blanket when gunnhild is actively using scrap yarn. Thank you for this spring a long!
No rush to start joining!
hi guys love the podcast today probably because i crochet a lot i want to make a bag with the flowers that i make from this one so i am loveing this so take care and see you wed
Your chart is great. Very easy on my eyes.
This is a wonderful project - I'm looking forward to learning to use a chart for crochet. The new knitted block is beautiful!
Thank you!
Thanks for the slow speed tip. It helps.
This was great! I love the step by step and maybe (maybe) I'll finally learn how to read a chart :)
Love the flowers!! I better get started! Very fun shirt that Arne has on today. 😀
I’m excited to know you have designed new block patches! I’m still knitting the original quarantine and Sit’n’Knit blocks. Curious to see what you have planned to make with the patches. This will be my first use of a chart for a crochet motif - the diagrams in the pattern are very helpful - so BIG and clear - easy to read. Thank you
You are welcome!
Love this!

Happy Easter Arne and Carlos 🐣🌷
Happy Easter!🐣🐣
Happy Spring. Thank you for this beautiful spring-along.

I knit and crochet. I'll go with crochet this time around. I prefer symbol crochet actually, so great.
