My opinion: Is it a good realism pack? No, is it a good shader that does not stray too far from vanilla? Yes, not digging the grass though

What shaders do you think are the most worth buying on the marketplace? I search like realism shaders
It’s not supposed to have realistic mobs they just made it look better and the pack is supposed to give you a shade looking world
"Experience ultimate realism" would imply a different selling point... which i explained in the video.
Ive admited having a different understanding of what this pack and what other packs like this did, since posting, but that line in the description really doesnt sit well with me.
There is definitely a market for something that keeps vanilla minecraft feel while adding shaders, nothing wrong with that at all.
But i prefer realism shades by melon bp and their changes.

Adding shade etc while keeping the mobs faithful enough to the original was the reason I chose this pack over the other realistic shaders

I think what everyone just wants is Microsoft is to just make shaders (RTX) available for next gen.

Also so you know... Its c alled classic shaders because it puts wavy foilage and sky and realistic stuff... But its called "classic" because it is meant to be the normal textures but with whatever shaders they are able to add so far in time, its not meant to be realism, its for people like me who want classic minecraft look with shader looks
Also You needed a closer look at water though... Its amazing! Under water is beautiful, and top of water looks 3d and you can see it from under too...
Also you haven't seen the amount of detail and variety there are in blocks... The whole reason you hate it is because you are looking at a creative mode point of view..! You need to play survival to get yhe full experience...
i think when you do a shader showcase it would benefit you to boot up a world in creative on a specific seed that looks cool, that way you can show awesome terrain and just spawn in all the mobs using eggs, it would streamline the whole video and make it easier to edit, good video either way keep it up
I like my format and feel like it catches a lot. I have no intention of showing everything, just give an "inside the pack" look.
I dont want to fabricate or skew anything, i feel like my format lets me as balanced and transparent as fair as possible.

I personally like the animated tool blocks
I think, in any other pack, it would have been a nice addition. Theres definitely a place for animated tool blocks, but maybe not in a pack that claims ultimate realism...

I think once the render dragon is fully released in the game I think this texture pack would look nice with the shaders.
Its meant to look good without the shaders though... but hopefully ur right!
I’m not sure if it’s been updated in the past 4 months that changes things or if yours just broke, but I just got this pack (I almost didn’t because I watched this review and I agree it seems underwhelming here) and it looks really really nice for me so like I say, either it’s been changed lots in the last 4 months or someone thing went wrong for your pack. It’s a very nice, vanilla spirited pack that adds much needed atmosphere to the game that true vanilla minecraft lacks a bit. Block textures are altered a little bit but stay close to their originals and the vibe of the world is brought up a notch. Cool pack 👌

i wonder why wont they upload shaders to the marketplace since there are shaders for bedrock already😢
@@Antony2618 they’re still in beta that probably why and they’re are still kind of unstable but I guaranteed when it’s out of beta they will be in the marketplace
It's called The Render Dragon and it's in the preview version still and Mojang are gonna put it on all platforms so eventually you could buy shader packs off the marketplace
Are there any Minecraft console texture packs that keep the vanilla textures, but add animated leaves/foliage, nice looking sky box and shaders? Like no custom or reworked textures, original textures. And the shaders don’t even have to be good. Honestly, this pack is pretty much what I want but I just can’t get over how the grass and dirt looks.
I havent seen anything that is strictly vanilla Minecraft textures with shaders and animation. This would be the closest I can think of but then you have the animated workbenches and the few changes that are here.
You might be best to wait for the shaders that Minecraft officially release. I believe they are in Beta at the moment.

How long do you think it could take Mojang to release the official shaders?
I honestly think its further away than people think. Minecraft are usually very good at teasing updates, but theyve been very quiet on console shaders officially. Which i think is quite telling

Looking back at the review, as is probably very obvious watching it, i got very fixated on the description of the pack and the "ultimate realism"... i stand by my review 100% but if others are okay with the texture pack, ill never tell them they are wrong :)

This pack is super good. It’s fantastic. It crashes my game after I try to save and quit so that’s a bad problem.
What do you like about it? Id love to see your opinion mate
I love the realistic sky and moving leaves. The water flows very nicely and the cats are chunky and cute now. The textures are smooth and feel very original without changing too much. Some bad things about the pack are the game crashing easily after I save and quit.

the resource pack just crashed or my sky’s turn into purple and black cubes, I cant even contact them abt it
That sucks. Last time I had an issue, I had to contact Minecraft directly and quote a lot of legal stuff about being mis-sold a product that doesnt work.
They gave me a credit refund.
I would say its more of a video setting than a texture pack, a very expensive video setting. Lol

Apparently they made an update to this texture pack and fixed the bug causing the game to crash can anyone who has it quickly pop it on and see if it seems that’s true?
I only just got the chance to, i activated the texture pack and loaded in and out of a world multiple times and it didnt crash, which was better than I was getting originally.... Not sure if everyone else is getting the same results though.
Was originally going to buy this until i saw this review, and then i realized Its kind of a waste of money, then I watched the review on Realism HD and then i figured out that would be the one, Thanks for helping me make up my mind!

In the description of the shader it says realistic water but from what I’ve seen this isn’t even as good as shaders back in 1.16 at least back then we had good water

@@DazMan All of the blocks that were changed from the texture Pack, like Gras block or dirt. I want to buy it, but im afraid that my World is gonna crash or something like that.

I have this pack, it is very good in terms of overall looks but... If you save a quit and try to reenter the game it is going to crash 100% of the time on PS5. The best work around is when you save and quit, change the texture pack and then change it back, will not crash from what I've seen. When are we getting render dragon!

@@DazMan I like that the world overall is just more vibrant. I don't mind having the base textures really. The sun and moon are good. It just adds some freshness after all these years.

i just bought this one last night and it literally is only half working, the animals and flowers are working but the blocks are only half pixeled. it says i have low memory but i don’t, i deleted everything on my switch to have enough memory but it still isn’t working. does anyone have any suggestions?
Have u deleted worlds in minecraft that u aren't using? As far as im aware, Minecraft only uses a certain amount of storage in game.
Go to settings and then i think its storage and u can delete worlds to free up space.
If its not that, maybe it means RAM or something, maybe the switch cant handle the pack?

It literally just doesn’t work for me idk if I’m doing something wrong? I have it activated but I’m still getting default textures
I had this error yesterday for a different pack. What i did was:
Activate the texture pack
Close Minecraft
Reopen Minecraft
The texture pack should reload when the game starts and it should work
So is there actual shaders now or no?? Everything that says “shaders” is just textures and no lighting
I havent seen *actual* shaders, as in official minecraft released ones. All i see so far are texture packs that tey to give the impression of shaders.
The option is in settings, but i cant activate, so not sure its officially released yet!
I got the shaders just today, and it's good on the atmosphere level, yes.... But it ruined my builds the the bricks texture is gone, the classic shaders mostly changed the original looks of the blocks from wood, bricks, stone etc.
I am a bit upset because i spent money on it, and its not vanilla as i thought

@@DazMan it’s already out in beta versions of Minecraft on Xbox android and pc no release date yet tho but most likely gonna come out same time with 1.21

Its really great texture pack. But I suggest PS4 owners with bigger size world should consider before buy this. Mine crash a lot not more than 2 minutes of gameplay.😞 Looks like I gonna wait for official Mojang Deferred rendering shaders.

@@DazMan I really love the fog, realistic skies, sun and moon. Wavy leaves and grass! The animal got ears😂. Lily pads got lotus flowers too. Like I said the only i disappoint is often crash on my PS4, maybe due to heavy load on my world bcoz I got 3 years old world that I never switch or create new world. But its still great texture pack.✌

The fog in this pack is disturbing fog in this pack is a bit much
I don't know I kind of like it... I like the other pack that they have done as well.
The "realistic" is a loose term it is 16x only so much you can do... I use a few "better" from MCPDL textures that change only specific mobs or items I believe the creator is Parcival... I think you can make this one better and I believe that's the point of it... There are add-ons in the pack that do things that are different than what you normally get from render dragon, this probably was not for a console player.
I have to give this a deeper look but Afreshed came out. I will update my response later.
I think its definitely for the people who dont want to change too much about Minecraft, you may also be right about it not being a console pack
@@DazMan I will see what I can make happen with it it's probably going to have to be on a realm if check it and especially if I do it on the PlayStation that way I can use texture packs that come from online.
I think that this needs to be put either underneath a texture pack or above a texture pack that you like and once again I'm not sure I may play with it tonight. I need a version of Minecraft not in beta so I can load it up on my PS5
I do believe there's more than meets the eye here but until I can confirm I wouldn't recommend it either unless you like what it brings to the world I don't believe that they were misleading everything they said was going to be there was there and it also made just be vanilla Minecraft with all the best features render dragon can offer
I honestly think these packs should be tested for realism before they put that in the name and put it on the marketplace for money, because the advert really over exaggerates the shaders and makes it look lovely, however in game people will get disappointed. Even The shaders themselves don't really look that good in game, the sky looks kind of nice and thats about it. I would prefer to use base textures than this because somethings just look so poorly made, and somehow manages to get high end consoles to crash

It’s trying to replicate “shaders” without actually having any shadows. Also it’s nice to actually support Minecraft creators than just install free shit on the internet.

I fully agree with you about supporting creators, thats why im happy to buy these texture packs, support creators and make content to allow people to see whats inside without wasting their money on something they might not like!

@@DazMan course, no hard feelings over pixels lol. One thing I take from it is that it looks very vanilla while also have some slight details here and there. One more thing, you can see the texture variation just on the grass block alone, I’d have a look.
I think it would make a good video for you to try Java, totally nothing needed, I just think it would be fun to see you relearn the combat and the different world creation. Just a suggestion.

Does this texture pack have bugs and if so what are the bugs cause I have heard people downloading this texture pack and it crashing games on console
If you have seen in the video, the game crashes every 2nd time you load into the world.
You are able to get in to the world and it never crashed during gameplay, but if you back out and then try to load back in, it crashes.
This was on PS5

@justchiqui1874 i dont remember any crashes on the realism one. But one thing to remember is these packs are doing a lot and are quite big. Minecraft Bedrock is quite buggy in general, so its a heavy workload.
But no, i dont remember realism shades crashing at all, definitely not as much as this one. They are trying to fix the bugs in this apparently

I think you dont understand what a review is. I checked out the texture and gave my opinion of what I saw.
Im glad you like it though (or at least sound like you do), everyones taste is different.
The point of the video is to show people inside the texture pack firstly, before they buy it, then to give my opinion on what I see secondly.
People make their own choice after that and their choice is always more right than mine.

I feel like its meant to add atmosphere and hide details or lack of details. But a lot of the time it fails.

@@DazMan the purpose is like u said to game atmosphere but that just it. it heavily depend on the type of game for minecraft it need something similar to cell shaded graphic with ray tracing which MS refuse to make for some idiotic reason
I think ray tracing is in the game somewhere. Theres an option in settings i cant turn on haha.
