Well the simple answer is, I finish one part and then forget everything about it until i'm done with the next part of the other series, and then I need to go back and revist the previous parts to make sure I don't write myself into any inconsistencies. And as for Motobug, it's on full hiatus until I either find some help with animation or learn how to use Flash.

God, this story makes me wish this is what actually happened in the game. It's a great rework of a bunch of concepts, and if the gameplay was just as good as the writing you got here, I think we'd have a masterpiece on our hands

I know your brought this up in a different video, but what made you decide to replace all the humans with animal people in Soleanna? Is it to totally avoid having to deal with any humans (specifically reject Final Fantasy love interests or uncanny valley sidequest-givers), or is this just how things are in Blaze's dimension/hometown? 2. If Iblis is going to have a different less stupid origin, and the Sol Emeralds are involved, is Iblis going to be connected to them? Like, will it be to the Sol Emeralds what Chaos is to the Chaos Emeralds? 3. This is turning out to be such a drastically different, much-improved rewrite, that I feel if it weren't for the setting, the villain, and the plot outline, I feel like it deserves a new name. That, and just calling it another Sonic the Hedgehog felt like an underwhelming for a game with so much story and so many characters. I know you have to call it "Sonic 06" for continuity's sake, but have you ever considered giving your rewrite a new name?

Hey man this is great! I had some similar ideas for rearranging Sonic 06 one of which was Blaze replacing Elise. Another one I had was Mephiles possessing Future Shadow’s immortal body. It would explain the change in color. Also, Mephiles is supposed to be the mind of Solaris, so him being able to make his own body seems incongruent with his lore role. Anyway, just wanted to say that I’m really enjoying this rendition! You’re showing off some of Sonic 06’s potential that was buried by the rushed development. Keep up the good work!
you're really good at writing these. Omega is fun to watch. Silver is really well written. you don't write yourself into a corner (something I do a lot). All the characters have some reason for being there. I really like this series and other things you do. Keep it up!

I am always sad when these end cuz it's really good, if there was an 06 remake with the gameplay from P-06 with your rewritten story that would be the ideal 06 experience imo.
Headcanon: if the master emerald is removed from angel island it's size changes into the one we see in sa2 but if it's back on it's pedestal, it goes back to it's giant size that we see in most media of the sonic franchise.

Let's fix: the Babylon rouges. A group of international thieves and fugitives, descendant of extraterrestrial bird species, and who's leader was obviously based off at the time popular skateboarder Tony hawk; it's just a shame these guys have a lot of potential, showing up in the new idw comics and one of them making it in the m&s Olympics games. They just need a polished up look, more focus on their team dynamics, and an update on their individual character and background, and we have a modern Babylon rouges. Love em or hate em, they have their fans. Whether it's the fandub rogues, the comics, or the actual games.
Actually it's shown in SA2 that the Master Emerald can change its size at Knuckles' will, in the cutscene that introduces him and Rouge, the M.E is at its standard size, but later after Knuckles puts the Emerald back together, it's small enough to fit into his hand

In case you haven’t seen Characters in Depth’s latest video here’s an idea you can implement later on. It’s what if Eggman gets ahold of a piece of Iblis from which ever character he’s sealed in (probably Blaze) and uses it to upgrade the Egg Wyvern
With there be separate interconnecting character stories like in the original game with sonic, shadow and silver, or will it just flip flop between characters in one main story?
