    Q01. What is the Airtel Offer on POCO M6 5G (Technical name: C3VP) device?
    Ans. Customer buying “POCO M6 5G - Locked with Airtel Prepaid” smartphone will get it at a discounted
    price from Flipkart plus 50GB Free Mobile data. The phone is pre-locked with Airtel for 18 months, and
    the user will need to recharge his Airtel Prepaid SIM present in the phone, with a Truly Unlimited recharge
    (bundle recharge) of INR 199 or above in order to prevent it from getting locked
    Q02. How much is the discount on “POCO M6 5G - Locked with Airtel Prepaid” phone?
    Ans. Discount of 7.5% is already included in the list price of “Airtel locked” variant. You can check the price
    of non-Airtel locked variant on Flipkart to know the exact discount amount.
    Q03. Can a user insert a non - Airtel SIM in the phone?
    Ans. If the device has an Airtel Prepaid SIM with a Truly Unlimited recharge (bundle recharge) of INR 199
    present in the device, ONLY then the user can put a non-Airtel SIM in the other SIM slot. The device will
    get locked if there is no Airtel Prepaid SIM in the phone
    Q04. When will the phone get locked?
    Ans. After first time device setup, the device will be unlocked for first 24 hours for customer to insert an
    Airtel Prepaid SIM with more than 199 recharge in the device. If the customer does not put a valid Airtel
    Prepaid SIM in the device, the device will get locked.
    The phone will get locked under the following scenarios:
    1. If there is NO Airtel Prepaid SIM in the device
    2. If the Airtel SIM in the device has less than INR 199 Truly Unlimited recharge
    3. If the Airtel Truly Unlimited recharge has expired
    4. If the user has inserted an Airtel POSTPAID SIM in the device
    5. If the user has inserted a Non Airtel SIM in the device
    Q05. In case the phone gets locked, what should be done?
    Ans. In case the phone is locked, the user should perform the following actions:
    1. Put an Airtel Prepaid SIM with a Truly Unlimited recharge of more than INR of 199 and restart the phone
    2. Call 198 from the lock screen for assistance if the issue persists
    Q06. Will the device get locked immediately after prepaid recharge pack expiry?
    Ans. No. The user will get 15 days of Grace Period to recharge his existing Airtel Prepaid SIM after pack
    expiry. After grace period, the user’s phone will get locked. Also, the user will get reminder notifications
    to recharge his pack during the 15-day grace period.
    Q07. When will period of 18 months starts?
    Ans. 18 months start from the day a valid Airtel SIM is inserted in the phone for the first time
    Q08. Are there any restrictions on any Mobile Applications?
    Ans. Yes, any 3rd Party Mobile Application which is not downloaded from official Google Play Store will
    be restricted to protect the device against any device Malware/Virus
    Q09. What if the phone is taken in International roaming?
    Ans. The phone will work in international roaming if the device has an Airtel Prepaid SIM with a valid
    recharge of more than INR 199
    Q10. What all functions will work in the locked device state?
    Ans. The user will be able to call 198 (Airtel Customer Care) and 112 (Emergency Call) from the locked
    device.
    Q11. Will the phone work only with Airtel Postpaid number?
    Ans. No, the user will have to put atleast 1 Airtel Prepaid SIM with a Truly Unlimited recharge (bundle
    recharge) of INR 199 or above in the phone
    Q12. What will happen after 18 months are over?
    Ans. The device lock will automatically get removed.
    Q13. What happens if the customers sell the phone during the 18 months?
    Ans. It does not impact the functionality of the phone. The new user will have to put in a valid Airtel SIM
    with a Truly Unlimited recharge of more than INR 199, else the phone will get locked
    Q14. What happens if the customer does not recharge on due date?
    Ans. The customer gets a grace period of 15 days to recharge his phone
    Q15. In case the user’s mobile recharge has expired, can the user still get his phone unlocked?
    Ans. Yes, if the user’s Airtel SIM recharge has expired, the user can call on 198 from the locked screen
    itself and get his phone unlocked for 3 days. However, without a valid recharge, a user can get his phone
    unlocked only 2 times in a calendar month
    Q16. How does the phone read the SIM and unlock the phone?
    Ans. When an Airtel SIM is inserted in to the device, it reads the valid recharge done on the SIM (above
    INR 199 recharge) and unlocks the phone till the validity of the approved Airtel recharge. In case a user
    inserts a different Airtel Prepaid SIM, the phone reads the validity of the new SIM and keeps the phone
    unlocked till the validity of the other SIM
    Q17. How can I opt out from the lock in POCO M6 5G?
    Ans: Steps for opting out from the lock in POCO M6 5G:
    i. Go to Airtel exclusive App and press the options button on top left corner
    ii. Select QUIT LOCK PROGRAM
    iii. Pay the opt out charges. Don’t exit the screen until you see a message saying “Successfully
