It's not that he is really curious about it and more that he learned the phrase "What's this" from his owner that constantly asks him what something is. He is conditioned by now to say that whenever something comes up

I love how he transitioned from rock to barock, to buck buck buckaw. Making chicken noises. And he totally went for the chicken sounds too. Honestly I love any time he realizes what sound he makes and find a connection to another concept and switches over.

We had a grey in this family forever. I think he was in his 7th decade when I was a teen. I know the dedication it takes to get this result. I just want to both thank and congratulate both of u for a job well done. I promise there is a research project or two out there following along. It takes good personality traits to develop that in a bird. So again…. Well done.

Apollo has become an important part of my day in just a few months time. He's an amazing bird, and wonderfully smart.. and his lifelesson that we should all relax is very much needed Edit: though I must say that i'm a little dissapointed that you didnt include his themesong "puh-ba-puh-bah bird"
I love how he asks for the names of objects he doesn't immediately recognize and he really wants to know what it is. That's so cool! He's not quite sure about the concept of plastic though, that's funny because it's not an organic substance and it has a difficult to pronounce name. smart bird.
One of the things I love most about Apollo is that you can tell, by the way he talks to himself that he really internalizes everything that you teach him. That earning a Pistash is more than a game to him, that through language you're giving him the tools he needs to explore and describe the world around him. He's just astoundingly smart, it's clear that he listens to the people in the house and picks up on every word you guys say. And it sounds like he understands a good number of them, too, even just from context. He's an incredibly curious and inquisitive bird, but it's also very clear that he has a sweet goofy side.
