For some odd reason, the cake making part made it's way to the front of my brain and I had forgotten about the game completely. So typed it in and was not disappointed, recognised every noise and theme track (bar the American overdub).
I remember spending hours making cakes with my friends. And after every single time we finished a cake we hid under the covers because we pretended the cake was a bomb. I just now got butterflies in my stomach from hearing the "Wendy, I've got a surprise for you!". Good times.
Another one of my under-rated childhood games Sure it's just a minigame collection on the PS1 but the mini games function well and most of them solid for the age demographic, they also help introduce toddlers into videogames well with clear instructions, tasks and great difficulty settings, personally I think the best set of minigames is the plumbing puzzle Oh and by the way, the cake minigame was and still is my favourite one!
I remember when I was younger I played this game. i completely forgot about it until I remembered the cake one. this unlocked an ancient memory. it just came to my head so I searched up old Bob the builder game (I dont know how I remembered it was bob the builder haha)
William Dufris passed away? How sad! I never knew that until today. He was a great voice actor of Bob the Builder in this British kids' TV show's US dub. May he rest in peace...
One of my sisters got this game for a birthday. I always made fun of it (yelling "NO, WE CAN'T" during the theme song, making inappropriate cakes, not doing anything during the Wild West activity, etc). It's so much fun playing kid games the way they're not intended. If I still had this game around (and the PS2), I'd totally still do it.
Im 21 and just remember playing this game on the ps1 but wasn't sure If I was just making it up in my head. Im happy to know that it was a real thing and that it was part of my childhood. This was one of my first ever video games I have ever played before jumping into the classic dragon ball games lol. WHAT A THROWBACK!!!
I was 14 or 16 when I found this at GameStop and bought it for my niece. I ended up playing it a few times xD must have been bored to have sat and played this despite being a teen.
I remember playing this when i was about 3, maybe 4. This, tweenies, and power rangers time force were my introduction to video games. Ah, the nostalgia.
I used to play this back in preschool! And Lofty's scared face used to disturb me until I watched the show itself and got to know the characters better (this game introduced me to Bob the Builder in the first place!!!)
I'm cringing so hard at this. Can't believe I actually played his when I was a kid. Then again, if it was on the PS1 or N64 I was gullible enough to enjoy it back then.
My little brother used to love this game on our old PS1/PS2. Gosh! So many fun days were had. Messing around with Wendy's birthday cake was deffo one of them. :D
THQ Nordic should remaster this game on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One because they are going to partner up with Nickelodeon to bring back various Nick games made by the original THQ, so I think it is possible that we could see this as a potential return of the original Bob the Builder. By the way, the remaster should be targeted at people who grew up with the original Bob the Builder.
When I say this was a staple of my childhood you don’t even understand the gasp I made watching the show just now to realize I played this game and IMMEDIATELY ran to find it

R.I.P.
William Dufris
The voice of Bob the Builder
(1958-2020)

@@CEO100able Well, he died on March 24 2020.
Lofty is such a scaredy-cat when going over bridges
He/She sure is indeed, huh?
Since when did Lofty get so scared?
@@CEO100able He
Spud once called him a scaredy-crane
And yes, some people are scared of heights, so I don't judge Lofty for that.
@@CEO100able Lofty's a male character.
Nostalgia
I had this game when I was little XD
The CGI like scenes are better then both CGI version combined

3:00 Spooky thunderstorm. Wind, lightning and the thunder. On top of that, the lightning strike hitting the bridge, knocking off some bricks.
I remember playing this when i was about 3, maybe 4. This, tweenies, and power rangers time force were my introduction to video games. Ah, the nostalgia.

Me too
My childhood game
If THQ and BBC Multimedia made a Bob the Builder game on the PSOne, then they can also make a Kipper the Dog game on the PSOne back in 2001!
THIS WAS MY FUCKING CHILDHOOD... oh how i miss it.
i used to play thus game when i was in pre school. it’s so weird because now i’m a junior in high school and i’m about to turn 17.

14:46 Mrs. Potts? But she looks like Mrs. Broadbent.
If you played this game as a kid your childhood was 🔥 as fuck and the cake section is the best hands down 🥇

You know what? In my opinion, I liked the PC version even more since it's more fun! ❤
My little brother used to love this game on our old PS1/PS2. Gosh! So many fun days were had. Messing around with Wendy's birthday cake was deffo one of them. :D
I miss playing this game in ages
Nostalgia overload. I'm relapsing.
