I think you're bang on about MCE, been appalling for years. I use the insurance company that MAG do for one of my bikes, don't know how good they will be if I claimed but I'm hopeful as they come recommended by MAG. Forgot to mention I tried Bemoto when 44 first recommended them but found they wouldn't insure me cos I live in London, perhaps that's how that manage to keep the quotes down 😂
🏆 Mine was written off by the insurance company due to bent pillion pegs. Bought a Thruxton as a replacement.

TremourSphere RHS damage after being clipped by a car and hitting the road. They said the integrity of the frame had been compromised. Bike looked like a cheap repair otherwise. Glad they’re bolting them on now.

Hahah, I've never heard a good thing said about MCE. I have just switched to Bennetts for all 3 of my bikes, so far so good. I did try Bemoto, unfortunately they were too expensive for me, however Mrs480 found them to have the cheapest quote for her CBR out of the others, so she went with them.
Yep, my local dealership told me about a few frame swaps they have had to do on Tigers due to the pillion peg mounts being bent. They were concerned that I may have damaged mine when I was rear ended earlier this year, luckily that wasn't the case.
