If this ever gets an anime and its a good adaptation, its an easy contender for best anime of all time

my personal fav so far is shaft, they adapt Nisio Isin's novel greatly so far!
I don't think this is the type of story that is easily adaptable

You can't fit a 40-50 hour visual novel into 24, 22-minute episodes. The pacing would be absolutely massacred. We don't need an anime adaptation, the novel set the bar too high.
This game is THE definition of a great storytelling! I got my ps4 copy and i'd be happy to buy an EU release (hopefully) to show my utmost support. This has garnered my utmost respect for its impeccable storyline.

One of the best works of fiction I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. Never took myself as a VN fan but this happily changed that. It never felt like a chore since it make a very good job of endearing itself to you with its wonderful characters. Oh that the soundtrack is amazing too. 10/10 would single handedly fund an anime for it.
Visual novel is the best medium for providing emotional experience, imho. They can be boring at times, but the payoff in the end of the best of them is incomparable to anything else.
@@sparklesparklesparkle6318 What? Man, 35 hours a week is just 5 hours less than the standard 40 hours week, that's pretty much working full-time, lol. I myself an author and earn enough money with my books, so I don't have this problem. I also don't play VNs that much nowadays because almost I'd completed most of the top 100 on vndb and the rest just don't pick my interest enough. There were literally just 2 VNs released this year (I mean original Japanese releases) that I would like to play in the future. Perhaps you're a moege player?

Why is it in Portuguese?
@@O_Tucano most of the songs of this game are usually in Portuguese, it's was quite a surprise when I started to realise I knew the language! The first ost's of the first story are all on Portuguese (the story of the siblings)

People are mad this game is one of the highest rated on Metacritic for being a visual novel while DDLC get's constant praise even though it's also a visual novel

One is an unoriginal, weeb pandering waifu meme game and the other is Fata Morgana. Unfortunately, things that pander to the waifu crowd are always more popular and accepted.

ddlc is the most generic, trope-filled plot I've ever seen in a visual novel. Even the horror part was obvious in the first few minutes. Fata morgana is some of the best storytelling I've seen in this medium. Incomparable.
People are dumb as heck, 2 of my 5 favs (not including DDLC) of all time are VNs. DDLC, while certainly good, only bloomed because dumb streamers screamed at it. Now when they see another VN rise up that dosen't have the support of influencers, they latch on. More evidence the majority of consumers are just kids in disguise.

Wasn't aware there was a physical edition. Going to assume I'm better off getting this complete new version on Nintendo Switch since I technically have the steam outdated versions. Physical probably ultra rare now since limited run did this a couple years ago which isn't long at app but for limited edition stuff it's one and done.
It's going for around $200 I believe.

"You" wake up in a dark and decrepit mansion and are greeted by a Maid. She refers to you as her master, but you do not know her at all. In hopes of "You" regaining your memory, she entreats "You" to the many tragedies that befell the previous masters of the mansion.
What is this mansion? Who is this Maid? Who are You? And who is the fabled witch that is said to have cursed this house?

Isn't there a fully dubbed version of the game? When I looked at the videos, I saw that it wasn't dubbed like Umineko, but we hear Giselle's voice in the trailer and at the end it is seen who voices the other characters..If there is a fully dubbed version of the game, please tell me.
Only the sequel has voices. The prequel and main game don't.
