Donggook once said in one of their episodes that seola stayed in his parents house while sua stayed with them because of her wife's giving birth to daebak..
@Avery Murphy idk if you've been paying attention, but it has been mentioned that the grandparents took seola in to help donggook and his wife during her pregnancy with sian. sian and the younger twins are very close in age, i think only 1 year apart. si when sian was born, there would be 3 babies to take care of, not to mention to other daughters that they also have. if there was any better way, i'm sure donggook and his wife would not have chosen the twins to be separated, but i don't think the grandparents could handle both of them too considering their age.
