Also known as the 1st or Root Chakra, the Muladhara (sometimes spelled as mooladhara) is considered by many to be the most important Chakra (although we know they are all important, right?) because it is the Chakra that connects us to our physical world. Located at the base of our spine, it is the root chakra that governs over our physical energies, giving us a sense of safety and security with other people and ourselves.
Color of associated with Root Chakra is Red
If your root chakra is in balance or open properly, you will feel secure in your world and daily tasks will seem effortless. You will not have any doubts about your place in the world and things will work for you, whether it be with relationships, money or with a career. You will work with the world and not against it!
If your root chakra is under-active you may feel disconnected from the world around you, including from your body. You will feel disorganized and consequently this will reflect in your world. You will lack focus and discipline and you may even become afraid, anxious or restless in your daily interactions. You will probably experience a lack of stamina, depression or desire to do or to want anything out of life. You will have trouble obtaining financial security and will find yourself with no, or very little boundaries.
Physical symptoms of an Imbalance:
Weight-loss/gain, over or underactive sex drive, poor immune system, anemia, depression, laziness, irratible bowel syndrome are all possible physical symptoms of an imbalance within the root chakra.

The natural element of the root chakra: earth
The first chakra, called Muladhara, is located at the base of the spine. “Muladhara” means root, and is associated with the earth element, linked to your ability to dig in and feel firmly rooted in your life. Its associated color is red, hence its links to the earth.

Listening to this today I was reading about the root Chakra, an intuitive knowing came to me about my own health and relationships. I basked momentarily in the understanding then returned to what I was reading only to read the exact words to the understanding I just experienced. I am in complete awe of what just happened.

This is crazy.. it was a roller coaster ride for me.. I had energy flowing at my spinal cord near bottom three chakras.. I felt energy ball in my palms.. I was crying and forgiving people and my heart was filled with love to everyone even who did wrong to me.. my head was light and asking forgiveness for all my sins from present and past lives.. O my God for the first time I did complete one hour coz this frequency was not letting me to come out from meditation, at the end I was smiling and feeling grateful to universe and people who were there for me always.. thanks so much to the uploader AMAZING EXPERIENCE

This is what we hear when we die, what we feel as our souls leave our mortal bodies, we travel through the clouds on hearing the voices we know of our loved ones calling, they beckon us and the closer we are to our final breath the louder the voices become. Then there we are! Sheer joy, the smell of every flower ever bloomed. The voices on earth now grew silent, that light gone as a new light carried me to a higher plane that no one knows of until we die. No more fears or worries, bliss takes its place. We are young again...reborn a new way...

Okay so I wouldn't have believed this if I hadn't just experienced it- but I took a test to help me determine what chakras needed opening and the root chakra was by far the most under-active chakra of my body.
I've been dealing with intense back/spine pain near my pelvis for almost 4 months now- I started listening to this and the pain honestly diminished greatly, almost instantaneously.
I hadn't even thought that this pain could be a result of a blockage in my root chakra but when I consider how insecure I seem in my day to day life and how financially frustrated I am, it only goes to show that it can't seem to hurt to try this.
Just starting out learning more about chakras and everything, so I'd love any information people might want to provide!

Sounds like you have gained access to the "Ancestors Realm." Congratulations. These "keys" are your gifts. You will need to open each gift one at a time. I had the same experience and found a rusty set of ancient keys in a tree outside of my house as validation. Can I suggest you work with "Petrified Wood" and meditate. When I meditate, I visualize the spinning chakra disk centered inside my body. the disk extended just past my body, but after listening to this meditation music for a while, I noticed that the disk diameter doubled in my vision. The wider the chakra disk is, the better.
