This theme sounds like a tribute to the legacy of Polnareff (which makes sense as he dies in this part) as it's more slow paced compared to his Heritage Of The Future theme and sounds more epic with the orchestra instruments being used. RIP Jean Pierre Polnareff
OKAY ! That's still up for debate. After Silver Chariot died, Polnareff's soul may have perished as well. But yes, at the same time he may still linger in the Turtle's Stand, Mr President due to the power of said Stand. I don't think a proper answer has been confirmed yet
His old theme was him fighting on and being energetic but this theme is polnareff putting up one final stand and risking it all to help the gang defeat diavolo
this very much fits older polnareff with how many things he came by, while the heritage for the future version fits his young self very well aswell because of how more energetic it is.
This will always be my ideal Polnareff theme: Not completely goofy and out of character, like part 3's theme that was unused, not just Kakyoin's theme being borrowed, and not overly serious like part 5's theme (although I could understand it working for cripple Polnareff tbh). It's triumphant and determined, while also retaining a bit of his arrogant side in some parts. It also captures this Frenchman vibe in some parts in a way that I can't quite describe. Point is, this is my favorite Polnareff theme, and it's really a shame the anime didn't take a bit of inspiration from it.

I can see why the anime never took inspiration. The theme sadly doesn't work in any of the scenes they had to animate. Especially when it's so.... triumphant. Polnareff was in a desperate scramble to get the arrow away not proudly and honorably duel. Diavolo wasn't looking for a fair fight either.

Heritage of the future brought me here. Polnareff has a win pose where he looks at the camera and says "We will meet again, in Italy....." if they put this in the Part 5 anime it would be so brill. They pan the camera up as the song starts and he is there. ^.^
Polnereff gave up alot of things but the thing i think about the most is the woman in the Alesi fight from part 3. They had a genuine connection but he knew he couldn’t pursue a relationship for her own safety. He had no choice but to walk away and i think this theme almost pays tribute to that. Tragic.
It would be great to see this in the upcoming Vento Aureo anime, because this is the real Polnareff's theme, fits perfectly with the character... but well, that's almost impossible.

If you think about it, if Giorno met him before Bucciarati and Doppio, he could have made him another pair of legs, an arm and an eye
