Jaguars' offense could be 'frustrating' for managers | Fantasy Football Happy Hour | NFL on NBC

These guys have no idea wtf they’re talking about
Trevor Finna frustrate your favorite team.
"Why did they melt down the stretch?" If you don't know the answer to that question, you shouldn't be on the internet talking about the Jaguars.
This is the problem with national commentators who don't follow the Jaguars. They don't really know what's going on in Jacksonville.
So here is the answer: it was a number of things, including a revolving door on the offensive line, inability to run for first downs on 3rd and 1, injuries to several starting WRs, and a series of injuries to Trevor Lawrence, including a sprained ankle, a concussion and an injury to his throwing shoulder. All these injuries for Lawrence led to him not being able to practice at all. So he went into games with zero practice, backup WRs, and a weak offensive line that couldn't run block.
Then there's the defense that couldn't stop the run, and couldn't get opponents off the field when they had to. Hence this year's additions to the defensive line, and a new defensive coordinator.
So many national reporters don't seem to make the slightest effort to find this stuff out.
This guy jags off regularly. Listen!
Thank you and people have the audacity to think the jags are worse off this year than last. I/ll wait when they come back on the bandwagon though.
Appreciate people like you taking time to actually realize the truth of the matter
@@paulvonvoigt3505 I live in Jacksonville, so I keep up with what's going on. But the national guys who tout themselves as experts and clearly don't know much about what's going on with the Jags frustrate the hell out of me, when they can find out so easily. But they just pull up a few stats, come up with a few theories, and try to sell themselves as having some kind of expertise on the subject. They need to do better.
this nerd knows nothing, jags are gonna be on fire this season
Calvin ridley, never learned the playback and dropped a ton of passes.
Yeah, first guy is clueless but that happens with small teams. People just say what they've heard.
They will be working the middle a lot more this season. Next time you guys need to do your goddamn research before flapping your gums. This entire segment was an absolute embarrassment to you guys.
This rant is embarrassing
@@sladeqr2760 your response is embarrassing.
@@Duuuval23 you chase Kirk with his 850 yards & 5 td's. Embarrassing 😂
@@sladeqr2760 it’s a shame you’re too slow to do simple research. Those numbers you posted were basically Kirks stats last year before he missed the final 6 games. The year before that, he had 85 receptions, 1,100 yards and 8 td’s. Please keep talking like you know a thing or two. It’s embarrassing
@@Duuuval23 you seem to be a bully to another opinion. Guess that happens when you think your always right. You know best.
The reason ridley struggled was because he never learned the play book
And he also dropped some critical deep passes
Gabe Davis is a fantasy nightmare
I actually think Jacksonville is Florida’s poor man’s Miami Dolphins. Hot take: if Trevor Lawrence remains healthy, he will be a top 5 QB this year.
He has too many weapons. Christian Kirk who’s a crisp route runner. Brian Thomas who’s the real deal. Etienne a dual threat RB that can run and catch. And Evan Engram who will have mismatches in every game. Someone will always be someone open. Oh and of course, Gabe Davis and his elite speed will be wide open against man and the safety decides to cover BT instead.
If not, Trevor can run too.
Trevor struggles with deep balls because his WRs drop them 80 percent of the time.
You got it matty berry
why was there a meltdown? well where do I start? an inconsistent offensive line that was chopped and changed every week. the interior pressure from poor center play which forces T-Law to go to his first read. no running game due to the poor o line play. multiple dropped balls from receivers. T-law was injured and most of his receivers besides ridley was injured. I'm not going to excuse what happened because of the failings really hurt us a jags fans but to say that you're not sure about the quality of this team is asinine
17 TDs last season at LSU. 6'3" 4.33 forty. I'll take my chances with BTJ
Mannn! I thought this was Rich Eisen… that’s why I clicked 😂
Why are you losing to the titans during the final game of the season? The final game of the season? Lol
Why does Matt Berry sound like Darth Vader
that forehead is frustrating
please. shat da phak ap!
OMG.. these guys are clueless
Leave a link to your insights 😂
Press Taylor destroyed the jaguars
Stop it
Calvin Ridley was inconsistent and not much of a deep threat. He's better in the slot. He also consistently ran the incorrect route. It wasn't the other way around. National media is chronically incorrect about the Jags. Go do stories on the Jets and the Cowboys, your darling annual failures.
@@klebentoe Alex always been a troll in the Jags community. Pretty sure he's a Titans fan
@@klebentoe Thank you for pointing out that Ridley was never where he was supposed to be. Everyone in Jacksonville knows that but national media is a joke.
