I don't think it's a lazy move if someone doesn't have the nack or capability of styling their home. You can mix and match some store bought art pieces. I've painted some, and some I've purchased and altered and reframed to my liking. It's all about personal choice and style. As for the tv consoles, I can agree on size wise. I personally don't care for them in my space.

Whether in the shower or otherwise. It's just a piece of fabric hanging from a rod. How one can look cheap and the other high-end is beyond me. I think grommets are far more elegant to look at than hooks or pleats. They are just so clean in appearance. Unlike the awkward and clunky hooks and pleats. Pleats hold too much dust.
It's just preference, it's okay if you like grommets. I am just saying from an interior designers perspective I don't like how they look. But we are all different and like what we like and that is okay. But I promise if you are willing to keep an open mind and try different curtains, you will see an instant difference in your home!

I have seen some nice looking curtains with grommets, I guess something about them I just hate.lol. I had them in my broke college dorm days so I always associate them with that era of my life.lol. I guess it's all preference. ❤️

I have grommet curtains too. It was the best option because I heavy thermal blackout curtains. The grommets slide easily over the rod. Now I did spray paint the grommets a matte black because they were chrome.

I must admit I’ve made a few of the mistakes a few intentionally and some I didn’t know. My tv is on top of a Chester so I need to get a tv console, I took my rug from under my bed for cleaning, I didn’t put anything temporary as it’s too heavy pay to have to deal with only to turn around and do it again and I’ve got cords that need to be covered. Yes, I am a visual person so I like to give examples. Tv consoles can be expensive so if you want a more affordable look just put cabinets or side tables together...like 3 or 2 depending on how big. I use books to lift up my bed.lol so I can clean my rug. Thank you for the sweet message, I have so many more vides coming!

Got some quality panels via IKEA that I love🥰. RUGS/MATS: I have been diligently looking for something good yet affordable, but, so far, no. Plus, in a small space, it’s extra dust and dirt so, extra cleaning. I have door mats, bath mats, and a small bed floor mat. I also have a winter runner and something rectangular that “crosses” underneath my very heavy main table + chair. However, to find quality + size + affordability re the sofa and the bed… not yet, sorry. “Too much” furniture: Anything extra goes in storage towards my next (bigger) space. “Let there be light”… I looooove lighting, and likely have some in storage too. Many people are far too sensitive and/or allergic🤧, especially during the warmer months, so, doctors aren’t usually in favour of them, as most people don’t vacuum more than once per week. That is, if they do at all. (I’ve only known one gent, who had 3 housemates, who told me that-because guys-they vacuum every day.) In addition, a mat (or rug) with a rubbery backing can be highly carcinogenic. Yes, there are “healthy” rugs, however, they still need to be dealt with. I found some on Etsy so, will see about future expectations and what is recommended for care. I did Google your Mayfair rugs so, will review these as well. Again, will see about their care. So I try not to go off the rails when I add pillows, I'd like stay with in the same color range but going a few shades lighter and darker. So tan: beige, cream, light brown, latte... Black: gray, green, auburn, yellow, ... Gray : light gray, light blue, white, cream, black, light pink, champagne, ❤️

I agree with most of your tips however sometimes you can have a grounded room without rugs. Rugs are not always safe for older adults and young children. I also have found some great art at HomeGoods it's all about the eye and how with a little experience you can learn to curate and put together a great looking collection of art.
I agree, if its a safety issues then obviously don't have rugs. Rugs helped my crawling baby so he didn't get hurt. But yes I love home goods and Ikea and all those places, I just said stay away from the mass produced arts.lol
Some of these are good points, but the curtain tip is 100% her dislike for grommet panels. She just doesn't like they way they look. just because she don't like them doesn't mean they look cheap. I personally feel pleated curtains look cheesy, they remind me of 70's look. Thats my opinion. I am subscribing to her chanel because her content and some tips were good.

Thank goodness that the designer I was paired with offered his suggestion to not pay all this money on customer drapes just to add grommets to them because ... they cheapen the look and give off shower curtain vibes. Once I heard that and saw the difference side by side with pleated drapes, I agreed.

The rugs can I do like the small area rooms because having to only sweep and mop is good for me because of my health issues,can you do a video that shows how to decorate on a small budget and that health cautious friendly lol I think I said that right but yes love love all your ideas
So your health is more important than home decor, so if you can't have rugs, don't have them. But if you can then thats great, I like to sprinkle baking soda on my rugs to help fight bacteria and germs because I have a little one that gets in everything. I agree. The advice is good, but the delivery is poor, distasteful, and insulting. At the end of the day, people deserve to like what they like and not what you like. Respect people's design choices even if those choices don't align with your own. There is a way to convey information without being condescending. Your "jokes" are not funny. Put yourself on the receiving end of what you're saying and gaugue whether or not it's coming off as rudeness or a "joke".
Great tips! Love your ideas. One idea for a future video: How to get a win win when you and your partner have different tastes? Some partners like matchy-matchy contemporary while the other loves English cottage. My best tip for that is make the base items match while all the others items “ pair well.” But would love to hear your thoughts.
So, my man lets me decorate and he doesn't care. If yours does then, meet in the middle. have your bed and dresser match and then pick a different nightstands. But yes matchy-matchy just says low effort. Its all about pairing and not matching.lol

I found your video insightful, thx. Three things you mentioned I’m guilty of😊 I have been struggling with concealing cords. Could you please do a video showing how you conceal your cords especially diffuser cords. If you have a video already please share the link.
So I use a cord concealer, it's really easy to use. It matches the wall so I just put my cords through it. I could do a more in-depth video

I wouldn't do an area rug, I would just go for a full 6 by 9 rug. Trust me it will look so much better.

I found some pictures from the thrift store and had metal name plates made for them then matted and framed. I also got a beautiful poster that I had matted and framed with gold title plates, it’s gorgeous.

First I want to say I am so so sorry. Secondly, you can go to your local flea market, they have awesome vintage decor pieces, Etsy is a good one, Amazon, I like to DIY my home decor and so many ways you can decorate on a budget. Look at my previous video, I give lots of tips on there.

The rugs can I do like the small area rooms because having to only sweep and mop is good for me because of my health issues,can you do a video that shows how to decorate on a small budget and that health cautious friendly lol I think I said that right but yes love love all your ideas
So your health is more important than home decor, so if you can't have rugs, don't have them. But if you can then thats great, I like to sprinkle baking soda on my rugs to help fight bacteria and germs because I have a little one that gets in everything. I agree. The advice is good, but the delivery is poor, distasteful, and insulting. At the end of the day, people deserve to like what they like and not what you like. Respect people's design choices even if those choices don't align with your own. There is a way to convey information without being condescending. Your "jokes" are not funny. Put yourself on the receiving end of what you're saying and gaugue whether or not it's coming off as rudeness or a "joke".

Some partners like matchy-matchy contemporary while the other loves English cottage. My best tip for that is make the base items match while all the others items “ pair well.” But would love to hear your thoughts.
So, my man lets me decorate and he doesn't care. If yours does then, meet in the middle. have your bed and dresser match and then pick a different nightstands. But yes matchy-matchy just says low effort. Its all about pairing and not matching.lol
