You can change the tone of voice. A lot of kpop-artists have done it actually. It's actually pretty common look at Hani of Exid her voice is deep too but when they debuted her voice was as high as kite until people noticed how amazing her original tone was. Usually, the agency will ask to have an artist to change up their tone for better marketability. Hope you are not trying to make this video clickbait without understanding the basics of singing.

She has the potential to become an amazing vocalist. Her timbre is very pretty and nice to listen to. However, I do strongly believe that YG should change their vocal trainers/instructors. Most YG vocalists use a very unhealthy technique and it won't help them stay in the industry long-term. I will continue to support Rosé and I hope she improves more in the future.

i dont think yg is forcing he on anything as you can see rose speaks in a low pitched voice normally and most of time she goes sometimes high pitched when she is shy and alot of ppl even me tend to do that spontouniously when we get shy ... when it comes to her singing voice she is using a wrong method not a forced technique .. cuz she can sound beautiful and relaxed even if she want to go high pitched without straining her voice and sounding smooth and its not fake its just a technique but instead shes using a wrong method swhich is sining with her nose and throat .. if she relaxes her throat and learn breath control and chest head voice shell sound smooth .. this is not forced techniqu but more like she wasnt trained enough they let her adapt to her own chosen swrong tehnique without correcting it

Maybe to have dynamics in the vocal section of the group. Jisoo does the deep round full vocals while rosie does that high nasally light tone. There are only 4 members with a main and a lead vocal so they can't both use the same technique. Otherwise their songs would sound boring. The contrast of Jisoo's and Rosie's vocals makes their songs very pleasing to hear.

What scares me is how easy it is for the nasally, aegyo-type style to ruin a singer’s vocal chords forever. It happened to Brittany Spears, if you look her up before she became famous and her producer made her sing like a baby, she had a beautiful deep voice. Now she can’t even sing Happy Birthday correctly. YG did the same thing to Park Bom; her vocal chords were damaged permanently because he wanted her to have a unique color. I only hope this doesn’t happen to baby Rosie :(
I’ve taken singing lessons for 6 years and I perform in front of people a lot, and even if I wasn’t trained it would be easy to tell that Rosé is struggling. She seems out of breath, she often goes flat on high notes, and she has very little vocal stamina. Remember how tired she was at Party People during AAIYL after performing the medley? A few minutes of singing doesn’t tire you out that much unless you’re straining.

The only problem for me is that she struggles a lot when she sings live ( out of breath, strained etc.) and sometimes it feels like she is hurting her vocals. Someone already said that out of the big 3, YGE has the worst vocal training while SM has the best.

I mean, Suho from EXO has trained VERY LONG at SM but he isn't a good vocalist - maybe because he didn't set his priorities that way? For Tiffany, she chose a nasal style for her singing. I have noticed though that SM vocalists tend to be rather nasal, a dramatic example would be BoA - and Seulgi and Wendy both sing nasally, Seulgi more, Wendy less. But still, if you read the analyses on Kpopvocalanalysis, you will notice that a lot of the top vocalists come from SM entertainment. The best vocalists from SM (Luna from fx and Kyuhyun from Super Junior) are better than the best JYP vocalists (Jokwon from 2AM and Jimin from 15&) and they are better than the best vocalists from YG, Lee Hi and Seungyoon from Winner. You also have to note that Jimin, Lee Hi and Seungyoon all have also had good technique before they entered their respective companies. Sure, Chen from SM was also trained externally, but Luna was purely trained at SM and has become a very good vocalist.
This comment section reminds me of the comments on the video in 2010 about Bom’s voice. Blackjacks swore up and down her vocals were fine and her technique was great. Then later when she was declining vocally they were begging her to change her technique but it was to late. A good example is Britney Spears, when she was a kid to mid teens, her voice was deep and soulful. Later it was revealed that her company told her to sing in a baby voice and it ruined her vocal cords 😢. This is history repeating itself
rose doesn't use a fake voice when she sings, she just sings with her nose and that causes her voice to sound higher. if she were to properly learn how to sing from her diaphragm and breathe correctly, she could use that nice low voice of hers(which is really nice and idk why she decides to change it) and also hit her high notes even better.

I think Sana and Momo uses a fake singing voice after both debut, make both look like can't sing because if uses fake voice will make can't sing but in SIXTEEN can sing because both uses a real singing voice.
I do the same thing when I’m talking to someone face to face, I usually have my “normal” voice but it gets higher when I’m talking to someone on the phone or with a lot of people. It’s normal, alot of people do it. As well as talking in another language, most people will change their tone without knowing it, I’m one of those people lol. Along with singing voice and talking voice, they can be very different!

Its not that she was trained badly because i myself was a part of a chorale group and the voice changes depending on how they were trained pr how they sing throughout the trainee days from what i see rose's voice before was more of the low note and now she sing higher notes i know she sings high notes before too but mostly she has that deep voice but for a singer when you originally have low tone voice then after training she can do both already the only problem i see with rose is that with just two songs is out of breath already that is why she was doing some adlibs during live shows i think yg focuses on her vocal than her dancing even though she is the lead dancer

What scares me is how easy it is for the nasally, aegyo-type style to ruin a singer’s vocal chords forever. It happened to Brittany Spears, if you look her up before she became famous and her producer made her sing like a baby, she had a beautiful deep voice. Now she can’t even sing Happy Birthday correctly. YG did the same thing to Park Bom; her vocal chords were damaged permanently because he wanted her to have a unique color. I only hope this doesn’t happen to baby Rosie :(
I’ve taken singing lessons for 6 years and I perform in front of people a lot, and even if I wasn’t trained it would be easy to tell that Rosé is struggling. She seems out of breath, she often goes flat on high notes, and she has very little vocal stamina. Remember how tired she was at Party People during AAIYL after performing the medley? A few minutes of singing doesn’t tire you out that much unless you’re straining.
In britney's case, it's all due to drugs and her smoking habit.

I mean, Suho from EXO has trained VERY LONG at SM but he isn't a good vocalist - maybe because he didn't set his priorities that way? For Tiffany, she chose a nasal style for her singing.
I have noticed though that SM vocalists tend to be rather nasal, a dramatic example would be BoA - and Seulgi and Wendy both sing nasally, Seulgi more, Wendy less. But still, if you read the analyses on Kpopvocalanalysis, you will notice that a lot of the top vocalists come from SM entertainment. The best vocalists from SM (Luna from fx and Kyuhyun from Super Junior) are better than the best JYP vocalists (Jokwon from 2AM and Jimin from 15&) and they are better than the best vocalists from YG, Lee Hi and Seungyoon from Winner. You also have to note that Jimin, Lee Hi and Seungyoon all have also had good technique before they entered their respective companies. Sure, Chen from SM was also trained externally, but Luna was purely trained at SM and has become a very good vocalist.

This comment section reminds me of the comments on the video in 2010 about Bom’s voice. Blackjacks swore up and down her vocals were fine and her technique was great. Then later when she was declining vocally they were begging her to change her technique but it was to late. A good example is Britney Spears, when she was a kid to mid teens, her voice was deep and soulful. Later it was revealed that her company told her to sing in a baby voice and it ruined her vocal cords 😢. This is history repeating itself

I do the same thing when I’m talking to someone face to face, I usually have my “normal” voice but it gets higher when I’m talking to someone on the phone or with a lot of people. It’s normal, alot of people do it. As well as talking in another language, most people will change their tone without knowing it, I’m one of those people lol. Along with singing voice and talking voice, they can be very different!

Emy 000 her old technique was the best. Because if she practiced more with it she will be able to hit the high notes easily. Right now she got used to her current technique that it's hard for her to hit the high notes. I mean have you seen butterfly performance at sbs gayo daejun? She did well but the high note i'm not gonna lie was weird and annoying
I do agree, she should still improve in her technique and high notes would be a lot easier like in her butterfly performance. But she has hit similar notes so maybe she was just having a bad day.
