What a lovely view over the lake. It reminded me of Switzerland, Norway and NW USA all at once. I love the closeness of the mountains to the city. Also, I almost expected to see the message "no grannies were harmed during the making of this video". :-) Just started following AJ.
haha why the grannies part? :D.. Yeah, AJ's a pretty cool guy. I don't know him personally, but was really friendly when I was chatting with him during his break.
Beautiful walk my friend...😍😍 Really enjoyed.. feels like am walking there.. wish to visit soon...😇 New friend here...🙋 Keep safe and keep connected bro❤️
I visited in December 2018, before the pandemic. I absolutely loved it, I hope to return one day. Glad to see that Happy the Singing Sheepdog is still there and apparently in good shape. :)
The tree is a species of Kauri Tree. It is native to New Zealand and has an amazing growth cycle. The one you observed was actually in the early phase of its life cycle. "The God of the Forest" or Tane Muhuta is the oldest known kauri tree (up to 2,500 years old). worth checking out if you ever go back.
Well, NZ's borders are still closed so there aren't any foreign tourists. This vid is probably a good record of how things were/are during the pandemic.
Go there around Christmas time and no one can move. Struggle to find a place to eat , or try snow ski season and same story. This was during or just after a lockdown so it is deserted although looks like some tourists. I live a short drive down the road and this is deserted.
Nice walk, amazing views along the way. Queenstown is beautiful. Enjoyed watching.
Hey there! Thanks for watching.

@@NZWalks Due to the granny you were trying to avoid in the beginning. 😄 I spent a pleasant day at work listening to AJ's music.
Ah, yes that part haha. Makes me smile whenever I see that. Still don't know how she knew I was behind her.

新西蘭能擁有世間難求清幽美景,相信是她遠離地球密集人口所致,實在太吸引的好環境。
Queenstown is beautiful

It wasn't too cold. There weren't many people around because the covid lockdown was just lifted a few weeks before :)
beautiful
SUPER ❣❣❣ SEEMS THERE REALLY A BIT LIKE IN GERMANY THE "BODENSEE"
And the shaggy dog howls.
mate would be helpful if you include the date the video was taken so we know when to go there if we want the same atmosphere. Just suggestion
Thanks for the feedback. Would definitely consider that for future videos.
Hi,exactly what was this being filmed? Such a great video.
Thanks. It was recorded autumn of last year 😊
Sorry,i typed it wrong. Wanted to know the week of which month. Thanx
No queues for the burger!
One of the few "benefits" of not having many tourists, I guess :D
Gotta remember covid impacted the travel and tourisom industry thats why there are less people queenstown is after all a tourisit destination
My dream country
Was this in March or April? Looks v cold. 🥶We will be coming in March this year
It was the middle of April (autumn). The weather is probably the best during these times - not too cold, not too hot.
Love from india 🇮🇳🇮🇳💞🥰
Video records date?
Thank you.
Can't remember exactly. 2 months before this was posted, I guess.
I'm planning a trip next year. Autumn leaves change color in May. I'm afraid of rain, but I want to see the mountains with snow😍
@@bootikkeereewan7880 there is not so much snow on mountains in Autumn, you can see more snow in July or August
So boring place there is no people but very beautiful

I never get bored of this place, Travolta described it as the most beautiful place on Earth
What is it for a tree min 22?is it smth endemic?
Not sure 😃. There's probably a sign nearby detailing it. I'll check it out when I go back to Qt.
where you now? 😂
Still here. Just finished a 2 year project. Finalising my new recording setup 😄
Why there’s seem very quiet?
This was just around a month after the very first lockdown ended, plus the borders were still closed.
