    SPOILER WARNING!!!
I am watching all Star Wars in Chronological order; I have seen the Original Trilogy but nothing else beyond the Bad Batch so please be careful of spoilers in the comments.

The fact the Troopers knew not to mention the prison break until after Palpatine left.

2:51 Do you remember the clone who tried to kill Chuchi? That was a clone named CX (Clone X). This is CX-1.
He underwent the same treatment as his predecessor. CX was replaced. Now you know that the CX clone project, which I personally call "Project Nemesis," is also on Tantiss.
    As for Project Necromancer:
I'll say right away that your theory about continuing the Rule of Two doesn't make sense. Palpatine was very arrogant and considered himself the ultimate Sith and never wanted to be replaced. He believed Vader would never betray him because Vader was always a slave and needed a master. So, Palpatine wasn't thinking about the Rule of Two because he literally broke it.
"I can choose disciples, but they will never become my successors." - Palpatine
(Darth Bane foresaw this scenario and called such individuals a deadly infection for the Sith Order, and he was right because all the knowledge and power died with Palpatine.)
Cloning Anakin in this case would only have one purpose: the desire to have a fully loyal tool that would be even more powerful and provide more options to achieve power both in the galaxy and in the Force. And let's be honest, this is Palpatine; he doesn't want to kill, he wants to control and rule everything.
Only in such a case would cloning The Chosen One make sense.
9:58 Sith language on the floor -Ur-Kittât.
However, recognizing it is one thing, translating it is another. I'm not that crazy.
Vader did not want to clone Padme:
    1. A clone is a completely different person with a different personality.
    2. Vader literally hates himself because he thinks he killed Padme and wouldn't want even a clone to have to look at him.
    3. Additionally, there's the awareness that it's just a clone and his wife is still dead.
Regarding Omega, since season 1, there has been a very popular theory that she is Force-sensitive. This theory has only been strengthened now.
    A few examples:
    - Omega, without a real conversation with Crosshair, said that she knew what he would do
    - Meditating with Gungi and understanding Wookiee culture.
    - A very strong connection with animals.
These are clear examples of someone who is Force-sensitive.
In this case, the potencial question must be asked: How were the Kaminoans able to clone a Jedi while also giving the clone Jango's DNA?
However, what I can definitely say is that Omega is clearly the most valuable clone, which is why she was always on Kamino. She was likely a form of Plan B for the Kaminoans in case Tyranus or someone else betrayed them in some way. We saw that Lama Su wanted to use Omega in some way.
Plus, it's worth mentioning something about "The Acolyte" considering the backlash from the trailers.
Currently, for me, the series seems okay but I see a possible future serious problem.
And from what I can see, it's the most unwanted SW series. Well, that's what happens when you go to war with the fans in every sense...
If you plan to do a reaction earlier, I suggest doing it before "Rebels," as later series has a lot of significant connections.

I don't know about Omega being force sensitive. They were only talking about M-count transfers into her blood to see if it degrades over time, and with her blood, it didn't.

Remembered that Clone now, glad they are bringing that storyline back so soon cause I have so many questions about it 😂
After this I still have no clue what Palpi is up to, didn't realise he was this self-serving and unwilling to let go of life, feel like this brings it back more to Darth Plagueis then since he could mess with Midicorian counts and life and death.
Didn't even realise the Sith had their own language 😂😂 that might be the most confusing part of this episode for me.
Omega being Force Sensitive would be so interesting, figured the Kaminoans must have tried to clone a Jedi at some point and I guess that means Omega could be the result of that.
About the Acolyte, happy to hear you think it's okay, I'll probably try to react to it soon, maybe after Tales of the Empire since if the later stuff has lots of connections I'd hate to mess that up.

I won't say how, what, where, but Project Necromancer will make sense later.
"Of course he did" was such a Crosshair thing to say. 😂

There's actually a project that in Legends is called project Blackwing which is kind of like project necromancer except its a lot later and not to this scale. Its essentially a project that turns people into star wars zombies

    • @benspiller
      @benspiller  2 месяца назад

Of course 😭😭 I knew as soon as I saw the worm things in Clone Wars Palpi would get ideas to do with Zombies!! Honestly sounds like a super interesting idea though, wonder if they'll do something with it from Leged since they have set up zombies quite a bit already with the Worms and the Nightsisters.

Something strange about seeing Palpatine walking down a normal hallway in his Sith Robes.
He's always wearing them in extravagant locations.

Ben, this is not a spoiler.... but a "connect the dots you already know" comment. I won't even get into anything from the OT, just the Prequels, the Clone Wars, and the Bad Batch "up to this episode"..... But also, I'll drop a couple of lines so that you have to hit "Read More" in order to see the dots connected, in case you don't want to do that. In any case, you can always try to piece it together on your own. You're pretty smart, but you've also only seen these things once.
    Anyway....
During the Clone Wars, think about cloning as a broader whole. Not just the Clone Troopers. The Bad Batch themselves are "defective clones with desired abilities". But also, several creatures with "desired attributes" were also discovered. Mount Tantis (the base where these experiments are happening) is highly secretive (in case you didn't figure that out on your own (which I'm sure you did), because of what Palpatine said, "Many of your research projects could be considered by many to be 'abominations'." I'm sure you know what an "M-Count" is referring to..... but it goes back to Phantom Menace. Midichlorian Counts. Yes, Anakin (as you noted) had the highest M-Count of anyone in the Jedi Order. What was it that Palpatine promised Anakin in order to turn him to the Dark Side? How to "cheat death". But also, consider the Sith "Rule of Two". A Master, and an Apprentice. While Vader wanted to save Padme from death.... which was turned on itself (she died anyway).... what do you think Palpatine is truly after, and for whom?
I'll leave it at that, because going any further would be getting into Spoiler territory, and you know I don't do that. But I did lay out the clues that you already know. The rest is up to you.

Now that you're on Season 3 already, I think it's time to update the Timeline so you watch it in the right order (if someone from the patreon has not done that already, I don't know, I'm not there hahaha)
After The Bad Batch Season 3, you go back in time a little with:
    - Tales of the Empire Episode 1
    - Tales of the Empire Episode 4
Then you go back to the normal Timeline:
    - Tales of the Empire Episode 5
    - Thrawn Comic Dub, Issue 1-3 (optional, but very good to listen to since you were willing to listen to the Darth Maul comic dub)
    - Tales of the Empite Episode 2
    - Jedi: Fallen Order
    - Solo: A Star Wars Story
    - Obi-Wan Kenobi
    - Jedi: Survivor
    - Andor Season 1
    - Rebels Season 1-2
    - Thrawn Comic Dub, Issues 4-6
    - Rebels Season 3
    - Thrawn: Alliances Comic Dub
    - Rebels Season 4
    - Tales of the Empire Episode 6
    - Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
If I got anything wrong, I'll update it

Thanks so much for this, with Tales of the Empire though I'm thinking of going Barriss' story altogether after Bad Batch and then waiting until I get to where the other character best lines up and doing hers all at once too.

      @redvitproductions2829 3 месяца назад +1

@@benspiller I probably wouldn't recommend it to watch all of it now. Episode 3 of Tales of the Empire is set after the OT and Episode 6 is set I think right before the OT, a bit earlier.
But IF you do want to watch it all together, the Barriss Arc is okay to do so, I think. The other Arc though, wait until you finish the OT

The thing about midichlorians is that it's not the amount you have in your body in total that matters. It's more so the amount you have compared to your blood-cells. Hell Darth Vader is more powerful than Anakin ever was, even with missing limbs. Because the dark side of the force amplifies someones power in the force.
Though names of projects doesn't directly always mean exactly what the name sounds like, who knows what Project Necromancer will be about? It's definitely tied to cloning of force sensitives in some way. Which of course would go against the nature of the force itself even. So who knows? Clone Vader? Get another apprentice and put them up against one another? Probably not, Vader IS the chosen one, and to be able to match HIS midichlorian count might ACTUALLY be impossible. What else then, right? Bringing back from the dead... Hmmm... Curious thing resurrection, right? Maybe it's in preparation for someones death? Keep someone alive for long enough? Who knows. Whatever it is, we know Omega's blood has the answer, the binding agent or whatever it is. The key that Hemlock is looking for. Which... Once more puts a GIGANTIC target on Omega's head, this time Hemlock even have more resources at disposal than he did before, so this will indeed get interesting.

An interesting dark side Force ability from the comics that might be relevant here: There are ways for dark side users to posess objects and people (since you made the point that clones are different from the original person)

It's weird to see Palpatine in a Imperial facility before age takes it's toll, he's always hunched over with a walking cane by the time of the Originals. Here, he's sturdy and confident.

    • @harwickbranch
      @harwickbranch 3 месяца назад +2

To be fair, books and stuff say the cane is just a facade to make him seem weaker than he really is
