This lecture is wonderful- i think of chess pieces as sculptures, and love the process/ and history of the materials.
The Syrian Mushroom Chess set is interesting- but i think i would have a hard time playing with it because there is no color difference in the boardpattern, and, the pieces are similar! it is very cool though.
