This set is going to be the toughest set in history to complete. Between the scalpers, the size of the set, the huge demand, and the fact that they aren't doing booster boxes. It is going to be a big mess. This set is super scary. It makes me know that when Team Rocket set becomes available, I am buying all that I possibly can. That is the set that I will really want to complete. I hope it's much easier than this
Our only hope is if they do a bunch of reprints over the next few years like they did with Shining Fates and Crown Zenith. Unfortunately there's no way to know if they will 😅
That always happens though, unfortunately PC is not good at fighting bots. I signed up for the email list and set their email address to priority in my inbox so I get notified whenever something gets dropped. Even then, the emails sometimes come way later than the drop and I miss out.
@@PokeFangOfficiali wouldn’t agree with “that always happens though” surging sparks pc etbs only sold out closer to the start of november but it had been put there on the site way before that. plus there’s still pc etbs of stellar crown and twilight

Oh this is one of those side sets with a smaller card pool, I thought the name for the set was odd, but it does fit with Champion's Path and Shrouded Fates. (also felt it as too soon to reveal the first main set of 2025.)
I agree, they announced it super early. They’ve been dropping new set announcements right after each set drops and I’m not sure the community likes that. I think they’ve been using preorders to gauge printing or something.
I checked all tcg shops in Poland and everything is sold out. You can bearly find it on ebay in normal prices. Anyways i think after the launch of Pokemon Pocket TCG people went nuts and started to buy out products seconds after pre-orders are announced.

Well definitely don't spend money you need on shiny cardboard. You're making the right choice by stepping back for the time being. I was too broke to buy any for years and I'd just watch PokeRev and Leonhart for fun. I lucked out and got a good job eventually that allowed me to get beck into it. I hope your luck comes around soon!

Man, I was out when I got the notification that the etbs for this set were available, and by the time I got home they were all sold out. I've got that page pinned just waiting for the next restock 😬
The whole idea that we have expecting to get the restock when release is the same outcome as us trying to get our hands in the beginning. 😂 competing with people to get it as early as possible
Good move, secure what you can early. Who knows if it'll be reprinted next year but even if it does it might still get scalped. We got reprints of Evolving Skies a few times and it didn't't make it any easier to get.
You’re absolutely right, I forgot that when I brought the slide over from last price guide deck that I included a $10 minimum value on the stamped promo. Forgot to mention it in this video because the promo will probably be much higher than $10 for the Eevee. Good eye!

surprise boxes is $22.99 on pc i preordered the 2 limit. there more expensive at gamestop at $24.99 i ordered 8 more at my local gamestop. pc etbs definitely went in i ordered 2 cases and 2 lose and ordered 10 regular ETBs and 10 tins 10 binders and 6 poster collections. i have more stuff but ill continue to preorder more stuff once its available again
there is no "before you buy" with this set lol. buy buy buy keep some sealed and open some. i managed to get preorders at GameStop but the completely stopped preorders on all P.E. products

Dont buy pokemon center boxes, overpriced. Think about it. 45$ from a cheap retailer will get you a normal box. Pokemon Center boxes often goes from same cheap retailer for 100$. More expensive retailers charge 70$ vs 130$. All you get is 1 card. Sure its worth 50$ more. But its worthless in any collection.
The Pokémon Center ETBs should only be $60 if you buy them directly from Pokemon Center. I would never buy them from a retailer, the only place to buy them is Pokemon Center so it means they bought it for full price and can only resale it for higher than it should be. I guess your last point depends on the collector, I personally like to have both versions of the promo next to each other in my binder
I don't think it s healthy for the game or your money ,when surging sparks isn't even one week officially released and all of you are talking already about the new set😂😂 It doesn't make sense buddy.
Just taking a look at the horizon! I'm still gonna be posting plenty of Surging Sparks openings between now and January 17th when prismatic comes out. I think about it in two parallel timelines, there's the excitement about the sets that are coming out now, and excitement about what's next. The news of the future doesn't spoil the present for me, I can enjoy both. I encourage everyone to do the same, don't let the next set make this one less fun, there will ALWAYS be a next set.

They have 6pack boosters tough. I pre ordered 8 etb 4 booster packs, and 4 surprise boxes plus 2 tins
That Sylveon card is a must have for me. I will be chasing that card from the get.

The fact that the surprise box doesn’t come with the English Yu Nagaba is highly upsetting.

Just make sure not to overpay or overspend, and you can always trade your bulk and doubles for the cards you need. That's half the fun!

People buy the pokemon center boxes for the stamped pc promo to complete master sets. I mean if that doesn’t matter than yeah just get regulars.
